Hoping to get some help IDing these.

Sorry for the blurry picture, I'm a little shaky.

Honestly I have no idea what these are. I found 'em in Front Royal VA, on the Signal Knob trail.

look up Pleurotus ostreatus. did they look like that or did they have lateral stems?

They kinda looked like those, but much more wavy. Kinda like chicken of the woods, but with more of an up and down wave like a fancy dress. That, and they were quite white.

ignore the rest of the mushroom's characteristics, ive found many oysters that look identical. did the stems look like

Yeah, they weren't sticking out far at all, and they did fan out strait from the wood. I suppose the caps just kept curling up to help sporulate?

maybe that's why i'm not sure. oysters do it a lot usually when they get huge like that
