An odd coincidence
    #14596484 - 06/11/11 03:00 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

So, yesterday I'm walking down the street with my girlfriend.  We walk by a pair of girls about our own age, and I overhear one say that she had a really strange urge to go to Easter Island the other day.

It's strange, because 2 days prior I had a rather strong urge to visit Easter Island.

I thought it was kind of weird.

Everything is a manifestation of our consciousness. Word is Bond, what goes around comes around and that's Karma.

Like one time I was thinking to myself high as can be in deep introspection sitting at a cook-out, looking at a old man in 90 degree weather that day mowing the lawn. Hot as hell outside as it can be, I was thinking of well dayum, maybe I could go help and get 10 bucks off of him or something. And then a few minutes later everybody made slightly similar comments (both same and opposite) to the thoughts I was thinking.
It was more than just coincidental as I could feel it. In a way, we can use our vibes from our subconscious to our conscious and make it a reality.
It's in the matter of how much in-tuned you are with yourself. Mind Body and Spirit are all separate if well allow it to be. Those who are more in-tuned with themselves can control their environment, connect with their subconscious. Everybody is born with this ability to manifest our subconscious to "reality" (I.E. an Idea or Action for example), it's just we are taught alot of shit to distract us from this ability we are born with. Society purposely done this to keep us a product of our environment when it's actually the opposite in reality. Some people are just lucky enough to be more intuned with themselves, and we all can too, it just takes harder work. Science says we only use 15% of our mind, 5% for good and 10% with ulterior motives while the 85% remains dumb deaf and blind. So who nkows what WOULD really happen if we manage to use all 100% of our complete mind. Till then I'm on CLoud 9 with my cypher complete

There is very little that is odd about that.

I think its odd. It isn't exactly the most common place people think of and how often do people get on the same wave length like that? Unless there was something like a commercial or image you passed by I would say its odd.  Go there and do this :Tastesgoodman:

It is common knowledge that this isn't true what so ever.

It happens to everyone I know and there are many times it doesn't because people don't pay attention.

Considering the amazing amount of thoughts that go through our heads each day and that of others the fact that occasionally they align is not unusual at all and would be backed by the odds of such.  Not to mention that they both didn't think of it at exactly the same time.

I believe that there is no such thing as coincidences but that's just me and my beliefs.

Funny thing, I didn't have an urge to go to Easter Island but I did turn on the TV and the show that was on was a documentary about Easter Island. Either way Easter Island is definitely a mysterious place. It is mind blowing to me how we in our modern society cannot even replicate something like it.

I had an odd coincidence yesterday- I was at home drinking a big coffee when all of a sudden my cat runs up to me and starts frantically screeching/meowing at me.  We lock eyes and then immediately I have to  :poop: .  I made a mad dash to the bathroom, and he made a mad dash to his litter box to make his own :poop:

It was definitely weird, but I chalk these things up to  ":poop: happens"
