Always cold
    #14595286 - 06/11/11 10:29 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

No matter what I can't seem to feel comfortable, i'm always prone to some kind of cold feeling. If I take a hot shower or go working out I get hot... but the cold feeling remains, it's like it comes from within instead of external feeling.

I'm not abusing any stimulants.

I know this is a pretty vague description but is anyone familiar with this?

I was thinking about a number of things but I blame my scrawny body, i'm skinny

I could use another 10-20 kilos . Does she know anything more?

I can relate.

It always feels like my back/spine is cold or my core temp is lower than it should be(my average temp is 97-98f). When everyone else is burning up I am comfortable. I dunno if my lower average body temperature has anything to do with this or not but I figured I would mention it.

This probably manifests itself in my feet the worst. My feet are always cold, cold and sweaty. If they are cold and i cover them up, they get sweaty but remain ice cold to the touch. I have also experienced restless leg syndrome at various times in my life and think it could be related somehow. The medications for the RLS made the symptoms worse and made it hard to sleep.

My extremities fall asleep very easily as well. So is it a nerve thing? A circulation thing? Dopamine related?

All of these things could be unrelated but something tells me they are not. These issues diminished when I was bad off on opiates but as soon as withdrawal would set in,these specific things would bother me more so than normal. The withdrawal amplified specific things like the RLS and the cold feet. But I have been dealing with these issues for as long as I can remember.
