This particular BRF jar has been colonizing now for approximately 12 days. About 2 days ago I checked it and there seemed to be an excess of what appear to be black spores (or maybe extra fine pieces of vermiculite?) in an area that the colonizing mycelium seems to be avoiding or disappearing in that circular area. Many of my jars have these small black "spores" in them, but they all seem to be fully and healthy colonized in the same areas that the spores are, I cant understand why this jar appears to be avoiding or dead in that area.

Also, I have noticed that it appears to be excessively damp in the suspect area and it appears that there may even be a sliminess colonizing the area.

I have attached pictures that will hopefully help clarify any uncertainties or aid in making a diagnosis. The picture will appear to be very unviewable; however if you just go to view in the tool bar and select fit to screen it will appear very easily and clear.

Thank you for any help/assistance you can give me,
Anxious Shroomerite.

i believe that is a rare dangerous ultron myceliatric black hole in which there is negative space so the mycelium gets sucked in
