Ron Paul supporters saw Sarah Palin as perfect VP

Not gonna lie, I never thought of this but I'm wondering if it could actually be a good idea.
Now I don't know if I support Sarah Palin as a politician but I imagine this would could Ron Paul's support wayyy higher.
Also not even sure if people actually like her or not but I get the feeling if she ran against Ron Paul right now she'd probably beat him, so maybe combining the two wouldn't be a bad idea. What you think Shroomery????

I had assumed that she was half the reason McCain failed last time... and even if she would increase his chance of winning, I don't want to have to worry about her running the country if something happens to Ron Paul. I'm gonna have to go with no.

Thats probably very true. Palin represents what we've been getting, the status quo, they all say one thing and do another. However, Ron Paul has never flip flopped or voted to raise taxes, didnt vote to go to Iraq, he just wants to force our runaway government to govern within the restraints set by the constitution. If you asked any of the candidates Dem or Rep you would find none of them are very interested in any of that. Treating the Constitution like a painting in a museum, nice to look at but basically irrelevant and outdated, seems to be popular these days. Ron Paul will have trouble finding a running mate. None of the other prospective candidates mirror his belief system. I was serious about Ventura though. He would be the best fit IMO.

I'm gonna paraphrase mr Stanhope here but look at the stats:
She has 5 children - 2 of whom are retarded. To be exact, one has downs syndrome and another one volunteered to fight in Iraq. Now how do you expect the american public to be behind you when it's so obvious that even GOD hates you?
Sorry Doug

You are right. Ron Paul brings in the centrist demo's, and the young who support drug legalization--he steals a lot of Obama votes--and Palin gives a reason for the 'Family Values' right to support him.
I'd say, this is a winner.

I knew an Alaskan mayor (who apparently was also the town postman.. Go fig) and from his stories about his personal experiences with Palin THEN, I would have totally supported her as a VP (from what I've heard she actually listens, the mayor (of an island town) asked for more ferries to and from the main land of Alaska, and she came through for the mayor). With that being said I do not feel that she has enough political experience to make a good President, and with the publicity that she has shrouded herself with over the years since McCain/Palin '08, I also feel that she would not be a good choice for a running mate if Paul did win the Republican nomination to run for President.

Ron Paul also is a true believer in the bible - in a fundamentalist sense, I mean he doesn't even believe in the theory of evolution (creationists and darwinists are both wrong IMO - find the grey area for fucks sake) and therefore has to treated with absolute suspicion. As much as he seems to be an intelligent and considered person and politician, the fact that he believes in the bible is why NO-ONE should vote for him or let's face it, anyone else in the entire american political system. Until religion can be truly and absolutely removed from politics, it will remain an inadequate and corrupt system that deserves no more than a vote of no-confidence come election day...
...that would be ideal but the sad truth is that most people put as much thought ( not much) but as much passion ( which can be retarded) into their politics as they put into their favourite sports team which is a perfect analogy to their chosen religion and so the ancient roman method of control continues to this day...

she had more executive experience than McCain and Obama combined and more foreign policy experience than Obama, Obama was a do nothing senator that voted present the majority of the time as opposed to actually taking a stand on a bill of a simple Yea or Nay, the issues he campaigned on for the senate he wouldnt touch, legalization of marijuana was one of those issues... you mentioned that she listened and one of the things that caught my attention is that while the media pushes her as anti abortion she vetoed a state bill that would have prohibited abortion in alaska... if she's anti abortion then why would she do the opposite of her convictions unless she was listening to her constituents and doing what they wanted... it also explains her changing her mind on that 'bridge to nowhere'

Ron Paul would never side with someone who thinks Paul Revere's ride was to warn the British that they won't be taking our arms and he was ringing a bell and firing off rounds.
Ron Paul actually knows about the history of our country.

are you still trying to defend that eskimo cunt. Oh and you should care what religion our public officials are because that influences the way they vote, and if someone believes the world is only 12000 years old and all people come from two white people in the middle of the desert. i cant trust them to run the country

Not really because he never actually shouted "the british are coming! the british are coming!" because there were british troops stationed variously across the countryside, so he couldn't give away the information that they knew they british were trying to capture Sam Adams and John Hancock, who were unaware of the possible threat, as well as take the ammunition nearby. There were 2 other riders, and Paul Revere got stopped at a roadblock, Samuel Prescott was the only one to make it to Concord in order to warn the local militia
But a rhyming poem is much more fun and easy to remember.

to get back on point:
the fact that Ron Paul makes so much sense with his righteous questioning of the current US government is a great cause, but it does nothing to settle my rational mind that a person who believes in a mythical story (sorry but that's my take religion - withstanding personal interpretations of course) should in no way be in charge any country, let alone such a goon squad such as the US.
