recommend me a band, please.
    #14591865 - 06/10/11 06:12 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I'm band hungry but pandora isn't really giving me what I want. There has to be something out there that will hit my sweet spot. I'm going to order a cd after I sample your recommendations.

point me in the right directions based off my likes.

a static lullaby
anberlin
senses fail
glassjaw
the dangerous summer
brand new
underoath
the used

I like bands that scream and sing but it doesn't have to be that way. Anberlin doesn't scream. I typically enjoy an aggressive kind of rock or posthardcore.

I can only get you the screaming parts, I hate heavy bands with melodics

But I can tell you the last Walls of Jericho cd (With devils amongst us) which was a pretty hardcore band as a lot of melodics in between, it wasn't so good for me.

underoath is

the cd after chasing safety is one of my all time favorite

painted in exile only has demos now they really are gifted in song writing.. a lot say the next between the buried and me

singing isnt whats great about them.. theyre best at jazz turning into blast beat and breaksdowns.  listen to 5:30-6:30.  they structure the metal song around there jazz interludes its awesome bc theyll never get the credit from the genre but are making what they like to hear

Painted In Exile - Skylines

knights of the abyss- the juggernaut is an epic br00tal cd from 2007.

Mudvayne is the only thing I know that is similar to your tastes, I guess.

If you have never heard of Floater check that band out. I can't see how anyone could not like it.

A lot of there albums are different, or I should say there is a constant progression or change so don't here a song off one album and judge to quick. The singer Robert Wynia just put out a solo album ,good stuff if you like acoustic. Floaters has some kick ass acoustic sets also.

All Floater

I miss buying cds. You do not get to look at the booklets and see the
visual tone of the album after downloading.
