Recent college grad, need an adventure/exciting job. Help?

So, the title might not be exactly accurate. Basically, I am 23, recently graduated with a BS in Psychology and Business minor. I now live with my parents and need to get out of here desperately.
I was considering joining the military, but unfortunately I was on prescription Xanax and another prescription drug to help me with MINOR social anxiety (basically, just wanted to get better talking to the opposite sex). I've been off those drugs for a month now, doctor knows, etc.. But military won't allow you to join for at least a year after that last pill though.
So, now I'm stuck here in my parents house not knowing what to do. I just want to find a job I actually WANT. Something that is actually fun, provides some adventure, etc.. Maybe something that lets you travel the world. Something that most people don't know exist, but is always hiring.
I only have experience working part time customer service jobs. Also worked as a janitor once. But beyond that and my degree, that is all I have.
I know there are a quite a few smart and creative people on here. Maybe you can help me out of this predicament? I'm desperately losing my mind right now. Please help me figure this out.
PS: In case this is needed as well, I'm currently in the USA.

With a BS in psychology, I think you are most marketable in social service type jobs. Did you intern or do research anywhere as a student? If not, maybe go back to school to get some connections and more marketability.

I can't go back to school at this point. I have no idea how I could afford to right now. I basically have to get a job at this point. I do have plans to go back and get a more technical degree later, but need to get a few years of work/money first.
No, I didn't intern or do research. I probably should have, but this is what I have going for me right now. I did try to get internships with companies outside of psychology, but no luck.
I'm actually interested in areas outside Psychology, so don't let the degree limit ideas .

Look for a job in one of those areas. For a little spice, move to a big city.

I'm don't know what those areas area though. And many I can't get a job in without a more technical degree (why I said I'm going back to college later to get a more technical degree).
Do you have any suggestions? I wouldn't ask the question if I already had good ideas .

I don't know man, there is peace corps. Jobs are very volatile things. You can go in as a database consultant or whatever, and it will be awesome when you start and then living hell later...or vice versa. The title or the description doesn't define the job in my experience. It is how the company or department is run.
There is also americorps if you are willing to do minimal-pay volunteer type stuff. Sounds adventurous .
Owning your shit is the ticket though...seems to be a game of use or be used.

Americorps is an idea. I'll check it out. Do they at least pay enough so you can live on your own and pay for food, and a/c?

I love it! Priorities:
1) Own place 2) Food 3) Air conditioning
Keep searching, and reading up on what's out there. Eventually you're going to have to take a job somewhere, because as the saying goes 'To get a job, you need a job'.

I sense sarcasm in your post. Please explain to me what is wrong with asking for food, a roof, and A/C if I'm doing something in the US?
Since, I see this may getting off track, here are some other ideas. Does anyone know of contract jobs in Afgahnistan? Say truckers transporting stuff that requires zero experience?
Or maybe working in a nuclear plant doing work that no one else wants to do?
Or some other odd jobs that most people don't know about, is always hiring, and is something I could qualify for?

No sarcasm. I just thought the AC priority was funny; I would never think to list AC as one of mine, that's all.

shouldn't you have picked a degree that you could do something that you want to do with?

Run a search for autism-related medical copmanies in the area. my girl does behavioral therapy with autistic kids. its definitely not adventurous at all, but theres lots of autistic kids out there - so the jobs seem to be abound.
gotta have LOTS OF PATIENCE. and i mean LOTS.
but other than that, its all about reinforcing positive behavior and shit. but if you're not the kid type of dude, dont even consider it. becuase its not yer cup of tea and not a profession to just fuck around with in teh mean time. kids development is at stake and shit. those kids need social skills.
but if thats yer cup of tea -- its a good career. with the right certifications, $125/hr.

At the time, I did want to do something with it. I've since changed my mind.

Don't think I would want to take that route right now. But thank you for giving me something concrete and specific. I may look at it down the road. Doesn't that require a master in Psychology though?
Anyways, does anyone have any ideas? Again, maybe someone knows how to get contract work in Afghanistan? Or something dealing with jobs most people don't know exist, but pay well and are pretty interesting?

To make $125/hr it does. But you can get a job doing it working w/ certified people that pays like $15/hr and stuff.

Yeah, no real point in doing that. Trust me, now a days, you have to have a Master in Psychology to do ANYTHING. BS in Psychology will get you no where in psychology stuff.

Yes it will. I know plenty of people who do social service work using their BS in psychology. Social service is very psychology oriented (even though its not research).

They may have other certificates or training though. Can I ask what exactly they do in social services? Where they started? What training they have outside a BS in Psychology?
Not that I don't believe you, but if what you say is true, I would love to look into the areas (if at the least just to learn about those opportunities as well).
