A mistake
    #14589771 - 06/10/11 10:20 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

Trying to poke holes in the aluminium foil with a fork, I pricked too hard and the tip traveled through the vermiculite seal and touched the substrate. I have been worried since. What is the chance that it got contaminated?

It all depends on how far along the colonization is. If its fresh like not nocked up yet then very good chance of contam, and if thats the case u can resterize the jar before anything happens. But if its allmost done then the chance of contam is next to none. How far along is the jar?

virgin as in no spores, or do u mean u allready added the spores?
If u allready added the spores and ur out of spores then u have to wait and see, but if no spores added then resterize.
