Hi Guys, I am afraid I neglected to bring a camera on the trip today so I haven't got any pics of the habitat however was in a grassy area, near a little creek-stream with spots of bracken fern and occasion dropped branches of Gumtree and gumtree mulch. The only other one I have found and had ID'ed here as Psilocybe subaeruginosa . These were found a little further down the slope closer to the water. I Think they are what I want. I feel a little silly as I have spent 25-20hrs around this spot hunting, such a noob. Then after searching up and down the slope almost about to give up I went walking along the stream and jesus they were everywhere. I only picked a few as most were very young though my wife and I are really keen to try them. I know it is bad practice to pick pins and I guess some of these would be considered pins but was my first ever find was hoping for enough for my wife and I to get going with. On the brighter side I left 100's of small ones there and did my best not to disturb the beds.

Anyway if someone could help by identifying these I would be very grateful. Cheers

psilocybe subaeruginosa
I say that most if not all of those are fair game. I try to pic them just after the veil has broken and older. That way spores are dispersed for next year.

Sweet only about 50 hrs of grueling hiking and now I have a patch. This website is the f'cken best.
Can anyone confirm if this would be enough for 1 first timer and 1 who had them once about 15years ago?

Um Im not sure. Its hard to gauge from eyeballing them. I have only ever consumed cubensis and panaeolus cyanescens
I would suggest though that you weigh them. A good dose for beginners in my opinion would be 2 grams dry or 20 grams fresh cubensis. It gives a mild and manageable high. There are a couple of calculators that users have made if you search. 3grams dried is a typical dose for the majority of users.
In the end its up to you. When dosing fresh the assumed general rule is to times the dried dose by 10. So a 3 gram dose would be 30grams fresh. This is not entirely accurate though. If you have the time I suggest drying them

Those will be enough for 2 people. Not enough to trip your nuts off, but they'll get you high.
