Pan Cyan Tray

I put my trays into my FC about 24 hours after i cased it with verm+canadian peat moss. It has been about 4 days and they look like this, i just wanted to known if this was normal for this species, the temps are around 24.c and humidity in high 90's.

Those are normal, nothing to worry about. It's just myc that wasn't completely covered by casing that has kept growing.

Looks fine. Perhaps the tray could have benefited from a "patch" on that large growth. Of coarse this would have been done when it began to show it's self earlier. No big deal. Looks fine and good luck.

Well ive got pins peeking now, i just wonder why im getting clumps of shrooms growing together instead of them being evenly spread out. But either way i hope these mature into decent fruits.

Come to think of it, i think my casing layer may have been a tad bit to thick.

nice pins. I don't know if I'd call it a pinset yet, but it's looking good. How many days total since you put it into the FC? 5? Mine are on day 4, and I'm still waiting for pins.

I put them into the FC Monday passed, so its 6 days now. On another note i never mixed any lime into the casing soil purely because i couldnt get hold of any in time. Also the manure i used i got from a guy who said it was pretty aged, like almost a year. I have some 1-2month old cow cakes in my garage which im going to crumble up and pasteurize today and spawn my other jars.

The only time I did pans was on cakes with poo integrated in with them. Worked good. But you will regret that aluminum pan. They will eat it!

Good job! The pans I have grown also seem to cluster, more so than cubensis.

I assume you asked about the air holes because the shrooms are so skinny? If so thats how the species is.

Your Pans ROCK Man! good job! a nice treat for you and some friends
semaphore, do you find a fruiting chamber like a PmP to be better suited for pans?
i always kept mine around for that purpose but never got around to it
always fruited cubes averagely in a pmp
sadly a few really nice pmp's are no longer in my hands, but on to others who'll hopefully benefit from them and enjoy them as much as i did.
the lil pods are fun

Yeah i dont mind giving prints out if people pay for the cost of sending them, i will report back when i have printed my other harvest to see how many i will have to let go. But if i just look at the pic of the other tray most likely about 10-15 prints will be available.

People do realise several of shroomery's sponsors have pan cyans in stock? Not to say I wouldn't want a print But y'know. They're available online if you want them that bad.

True, but some people seem really desperate to get their hands on one. Just pointing out there were easier ways, even if they were slightly more costly. Like I said, I certainly wouldn't say no to one of your prints :P But I imagine I'd be like, 50th in line by now. Nice grow, though. Looking at pictures of pan cyans always cheers me up, even though I haven't tried to grow any yet :P

I think humidity in the high 90s is a bit high for pans, 85ish seems to keep them to grow a bit better and open their caps. I waited until caps went flat before printing. Nice grow though, just be careful the first few times you take them, they are very potent. Can make you freak the fuck out.
