Just like if you spend all your time in internet forums you'd think Ron Paul would be a shoe-in for the presidency.
No, I don't think that voter stupidity is a sufficient explanation for the problems we have in our country(I'm not saying it doesn't play a role). I think our stem much more from an election system which involves corporate fundraising. I mean, it used to be that Democrats raised money from unions while Republicans raised money from corporations, so at least you had two real competing interest groups. But then the unions got dismantled under Reagan, and now both sides rely on the corporations for money. And after Citizens United, it's only going to get worse. I think it's time we had publicly financed elections. Or at the very least, we should limit campaign financing to only small donations from individuals and ban collective entities from donating.
QFT Said very well.
paul wants the federal government out of state laws..
who else is for that? no one.
him getting elected it is too good to be true however

6 months ago, i got in a horriffic car accident and ended up breaking my back. L1 disk to be exact. I had insurance and was able to get the best doctor available to operate on me. one week after the crash i was already walking. Now skip forward a few weeks to when the bills start coming in. $400,000 roughly. thats a lot of god damn cash money. but i only paid $7,000 because i had insurance. the system works dude.
Here's how I took it.
If you didn't have insurance like a lot of Americans, you'd be either 400,000 in debt or have a broken back

You are such a troll.
con·spir·a·cy
1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act. 2. A group of conspirators. 3. Law An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action. 4. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design
If you do not think the above definition never takes place in this world then you are the one that should be wearing a tinfoil hat broseph.

I just think that if Shins spent less time berating the stupidity of the "sheeple" masses and more time explaining why he talks the way he does, it would be easier to listen to and take seriously his positions.
Not trying to flame here, just some (hopefully) constructive criticism.

I have never seen so many negative connotations crammed into a single paragraph. A conspiracy theory Is actually a theoretical explanation of a situation which conspiracy is completely within the realm of possibility. Conspiracy, which is by definition a back door deal made between two or more people that affects your life.

Why is "definition" in quotes? It seems like a perfectly serviceable definition to me. No doubt conspiracies are real and happen all the time, but this does not make every conspiracy theory true. Many of them are contradictory and most of them are bulllshit.

IMO they're not really conspirators, they're just "elites." They don't hide their "conspiracy," it's all above the table. It works because they nurture our passivity.
There, I summed it up perfectly without resorting to name-calling or bullshit rhetoric.
