Hello all this is my first time hunting and first time posting so please go easy on me =p
Im in Melbourne Australia fairly close to the city went out this morning and found a few patches with tiny mushrooms about, know i should have waited but took a few to see if im on the right track. And i cut them didnt rip em out =)
Found what i think is three different varieties all with in a few metres of each other and in long grass, and decomposing leaves under eucalyptus tree
#1: First one i found dont think this is what im after?

#2: Thinking this one is too orange and no blueing

#3: This guy had some blueing looks the most promising taking a spore print now

From Left to right #1,2,3

Thanks in advance for any replies, and apologies if this post is not constructed correctly.
cheers

They are active, but if you have the luxury, I'd wait until they grow a bit bigger.
See, I hunt liberty caps in tall grass and if I don't pick the ones I find, there's a good chance they'll be trampled by dog walkers or I'll not find them again.
You shouldn't have these problems, though.

I wonder how many people, that weren't members, thought about joining and posting an ID request, but just ate them instead, and died a few days later and we never even knew about them?

i actually think most people ARE deathly afraid of wild fungus ( any kinds ) just for that reason But of course - many have perished to then get us the "deadly" label on certain species Big to the smart ones

sorry guys two more pictures
#1: Found in a pile of decompsing grass seemed to be a few growing in clusters of 3-4
#2: Found in short grass not far from woodchips under a random(Not pine/euca) tree all by his lonesome think it looks cool

Just found both of these on the way back from 7-11 couldnt help myself had to stop and do a lap of the park.
Just curious if anyone knows what they are, not expecting either to be active
Thanks again for the help guys this site is forum is great, starting to get hooked.......

First is a Mycena species and the second one you can't really tell because the cap is being covered by the upturned gills.

All were found together in long wet grass not far from some eucalyptus trees
