Pics from this morning.

It has been pouring with rain for the last two days. This morning I got up nice and early and headed off to my main patch. I found the usual amount of subs, and two very large ones. This is the area I find them in. Lots of ferns, grass and moisture, about 200 feet above sea level, on a southerly facing hill.

And some inactives which I do not know the names of.
Not sure if these two are the same. Didn't check whether the first pic had stem and gills.

After having success here, I decided I'd go check out my backup patches at the local park - only when I got down there I found out it's not so much a park anymore... more like a lake.

After walking along the beach to gain access, I went to my first patch. Only found 3, but still better than nothing.

My next patch was a bit more successful. Probably about 10 nice healthy looking subs.

Then I went to the school. It was a gold mine here! Probably 100 or so very bulky looking subs growing from pinebark scattered through the grass.

Here's the haul - about 150g fresh.

Thanks everyone.
I'm just about to head back out for another hunt. I have a few more patches down at the park that I couldn't get to because of the water. But the council were pumping it all out yesterday, so hopefully today it's in a better condition.
Anyone know what any of the inactives are?

Top right inactive looks like Hypholoma, a few below that looks like a Cortinarius or Lactarius...just a shot in the dark there. I'm pretty sure on the Hypholoma.
-------------------- In ancient times, when demons roamed with man, They hunted, loved and lost, hand in hand, As time went on, the difference between them faded. You couldn't tell anymore, demons and man were related, and some would say the same, but who would like to claim? In time, Gods had even forgot, Demons, too, once love had sought. In times recent I remember, Once I was a man, In my heart I had an ember, I'll relate the best I can but it was snuffed, one distant December. And yet here I stand, no flesh, no bones, no seed or semen, All that's left is this Demon.
