Casing to Fruiting Chamber Q

Hi all, sorry if this may sound stupid but I keep reading that after your substrate is sufficiently colonized and you apply casing, it says to Move the casing to the fruiting chamber. I was under the impression that a casing is left in one container from innoculation until fruiting. Is this assumption wrong? Thanks. *-_-Distortion-_-*

OK, I see what you mean.. smaller cased containers get put into a larger one right.. Whats the purpose of this?? Couldn't be for temperature sake because fruiting could take place at room temp.. and I think the mycelium should be resilient(sp?) enough against contams...

No thanks to that unhelpful post. Don't assume I'm too stupid or lazy to do a search. I couldn't find my answer and that is exactly what these posts are for... anyone with helpful information?

OK my dawg told me about making this post more clear to you. Usually in Mush Cult a dawg has two very different chambers that he uses. One is called an incubator which is similar to a nursery. It encourages the young baby spores to mature into nice white fulffy filled jars. After the jars have colonized 100% they are ejected from their maturnity ward. Then the proud parent decides if he will fruit the cake, or case it. Either way the beautiful baby is moved to a different ward (chamber) with the correct conditions for it to grow up into a beautiful mature adult (mushroom). *edit spelling

Ahh now I feel stupid, I thought it was saying to move your whole colonized casing into another container different from the one used to spawn substrate, but I guess I must have misread? Anyways tell your dog thanks
