Early Update on Poppy Growth

It has been about two weeks since I planted some poppy seeds indoors on my window sill. Just wanted to have you guys take a look and let me know if everything seems in order. I have 4 pots going. The one pictured is the biggest so far, not by too much, however. One of them has two in it because I guess I accidentally put more than one seed in it. There were a couple of other sprouts in that particular pot, which I tried to transplant early, but they did not take. So one pot has two, two pots have one, and the 4th pot doesn't seem to be doing so well and was where I tried to do the other transplanting. I suppose I could could try to transplant one of the two sprouts, should I wait to a certain point? I know I have to make sure I'm careful and also get the roots. I've been using tap water to water them, but I should probably get some better water at the store that would work better for plants. (let me know if that is relevant) Anyway just figured I'd post this update as I'm pretty excited and this is my first time doing this. There is a long way to go though...

At what point would be good to transplant? As I mentioned I've got two sprouts in one pot so I need to transplant one of them, possibly to the pot that is not doing do well. Actually the sprout I would transplant is right near the edge of the pot so I'm not sure if that will interfere with it if I don't move it by a certain point.

For that pot that has two in it, like I said there is one near the edge and then one in the middle. Do you think it would be fine to just leave them both in there to grow or will they eventually effect each other? And the reason I mentioned the one on the edge was that I thought it might not have enough room to grow.

just transplant it to be safe, is your pot meduim or big. they will start to affect each other and they will start competiting for food and minerals and eventually kill each other.

They are in an 8in pot. I'm worried about transplanting, as I do not want to kill it. The one on the edge would be to obvious one to move.

its your choice whether you want to transplant it or not. if you don't there might be a chance that the two or one poppy plant might be stunted
