Human centipede 2: banned
    #14583694 - 06/09/11 06:51 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2011/jun/07/human-centipede-2-ban-tom-six-spoilers

The movie was banned in the UK, because they considered it to be too gory and that it poses a risk to the viewers. :confused2:

I have to say, I've watched the first one and found it very poorly structured, and not specially horrific or gory, it's just a stupid idea.

For what I've read, instead of a human centipede with 3 persons in this they're going for one with 12  I'm very into gory movies and not easily surprised, although I think this will bring even more publicity to the film (polemic).

I just don't think people have the right to ban films, they're already for +18, so??

I agree. I saw the first one too, atthe Fantasia movie festival last summer and I liked it. I thought it was pretty novel in the way that it used humans as victims without having to actually kill them. Interesting idea.

Plus I've watched it again recently on Netflix and I thought the acting wasn't bad at all considering it's a very low budget movie.

I,ve heard about the second one, a 12 person long centipede and I have to admit, I can't wait to see how they pull it off, especially considering that the mad doctor is supposed to be dead...

I've heard that it's about a guy who finds a dvd of the first one and tries to recreate it, with 12 folks.

I don't know, I read in the newspaper today that it had been banned in the UK due to it's "sick nature". It must be coming out soon.

Half the video games I play are banned from the UK and Europe.  Movies have finally gotten as violent as my games?  That or the laws there are too soft.  Check out some Guinea Pig (Za Ginipiggu) movies if you want to make human centipede seem like a G rated movie.

The movie is not that bad really. The first time it might shock you, but if you watch it a second time, you realize that it's not that graphic, it's just disturbing in relation to the basic idea of having three persons attached ass to mouth trying to escape from a mad surgeon's place

Plus, having two topless women walk on all four for most of the movie is a plus

Well, there is a part in the film where the japanese guy, the only guy in the centipede and also the '' head '' of the centipede, has to poop...

I know he has to poop, but what if he just had gas for the entire film?  Everytime something dramatic and horrific is gonna happen, he blows ass and someone starts choking.

It didn't make sense.

Nah the force would have probably caused her face to rip off his anus.  In addition, the whole graft to another living organism thing sounds like it'd uberfail with tissue rejection.

Well, it does fail at one point and one of them dies.

It would have probably failed immediately.  Living tissue of two organisms combined (not dead tissue to living tissue, but both living organisms attached) will end in a rejection within hours if not a couple days.

It's both, really. There is a definite '' thongue in cheek '' flavor to it, but at the same time, it can be disturbing and also thrilling.
