How do you know when a mushroom has crossed the line? My friend found a whole bunch of ones similar to the colour of OP's. We didn't detect any bad smells or anything, they dried out fine. However, they're a darker colour than other dry ones he has. Should we chuck them or are they OK? They seemed to be in reasonable condition when I first saw them after he picked them..

So are those Ovoids? And what part of the planet are you on? I am in the San Francisco area and we have tons of cyans here in Fall/Winter. But there isn't much going on now. I have been looking to see if anybody is finding pan subbs but have not seen a posting from anyone in my area.

If you don't know what they are to begin with, don't touch them. I'm not saying you don't know what they are, but on this forum, there's a lot of people that say, "I found ones similar to those" or, "My mushroom looks like the stuff on google images" hoping to trip. LBMs are dangerous, and they all look alike when you're hoping to trip. Just my little piece of advice.

You couldn't tell anymore, demons and man were related, and some would say the same, but who would like to claim? In time, Gods had even forgot, Demons, too, once love had sought. In times recent I remember, Once I was a man, In my heart I had an ember, I'll relate the best I can but it was snuffed, one distant December. And yet here I stand, no flesh, no bones, no seed or semen, All that's left is this Demon.

Oops, sorry, I meant that they're 100% subs, no doubt about that, I was more referring to their state of health. i.e. they were close to beginning to go bad, but in my eyes still seemed OK.

Oh ok, my bad. They're some awesome looking mushrooms, I hope to run across them some day myself. I've not found any actives except Amanita muscaria and Gymnopilus spectablis, and the gymno was inactive in Europe =P Maybe this year I'll find some gymnos or something. I'll keep a weather eye out for more A. muscaria, too =D
