Sorry, I broke the forum rules. I apologize to all because I didn't give any sort of discussion.

Lets see...where to begin.

Science, particularly medical science is based on the idea that the mind cannot affect how it responds to phenomena like electricity/extremely cold temperature.

Clearly, because these people are humans with no perceptibly different genetics, we must now search out the extent to which and how normal people can access these powers.

These guys aren't unique, well maybe the electric guy. I have experienced being able to heat my hand actually. Never really thought much about it until now.

What does the rest of the forum think?

It is?  Could you expand on that, or link?  I have never heard that and it sounds fishy.

Actually, the electric guy isn't doing anything remarkable. He's tolerating a relatively mild shock. It hurts a bit, but it's nothing special

For example, when he holds up the hot dog with two forks attached to a power source, it looks impressive how the hot dogs cook and burst, but in fact the electrical resistance through the hot dog is tiny compared to the resistance through the guy's body, especially if he's careful to keep his hands and the forks dry. That means that almost all the current goes through the hot dog.

Also, notice when he makes a spark jump from the Van de Graaff generator (the contraption with the big spark jumping off the shiny ball) he holds his finger OUTSIDE the circuit. In other words, the real current is flowing between the two poles of the generator and his finger is to the left of the circuit. He's careful not to stick his finger in between the poles as that would give him a serious wallop.

The guy is a street performer making a living with the appearance of danger but he doesn't do anything that would impress someone with knowledge of how electricity works.

The ice man, however, is an impressive athlete. :whoa:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.
