First, I wasn't replying you, second , why quote me, then ask a question that has nothing to do with my response?
-in any event-
The writers of the Bible were inspired by God.There has never been a book so widespread, scrutinized, etc.Specifically,I believe the Ten Commandments give a way of life one should strive for...a code if you will.
........Its only the most read book in thw world with 3.9 billion copies.
Tell me why the intellect of man should be taken seriously?

I attended Baptist Bible College in Michigan and grew up in the Baptist church. I've read the whole of the bible.
Plus I can spell and form sentences.

So you dont agree....its your choice.
And its mine to agree. The vast majority of my time in the military I denounced my upbringing....but I did come back

Okay, if god created everything, then the implicit assumption is that a creator is required for things to exist.
In that case, a creator is required for the creator to exist.
So who created the creator?

You said this. Funny I was going to say thing to you Fucked up sentence.
Doesn't matter what you agree with. This is a debate forum where proofs are required when requested and not an irrational opinion.
Frankly you thought you were going to come here to do some damage and you got your ass handed to you. Instead of leaving or really learning something like you claimed you grasped at anything you could hang on to to hold on to your irrational beliefs. Bottom line. Your OP does not belong here.

Life is supposed to be a cake walk because of God? Where does it say that?
You obviously can't read.
Do you know what probably means?
It means its likely. An assumption is stated in certainty. If I say that god helped me through prayer, I make an assumption. If I say that god probably helped me through prayer, I am making an estimate.
Ever heard of a dictionary?
A cake walk?
Sure, life is a struggle.
But why does god help some who struggle and the large majority he doesnt?
Do you know that 20 000 children starve on a daily basis?
Yet your here telling me that a loving all powerful god 'has his reasons' to let them starve, but helps you out????
Your kidding right?

You probally don't want to understand this though; because you probally already have a huge social group that believes in god and want your life to stay the same. You might have married someone who does have these beliefs.
Thats fine, its perfectly understandable. I would defend it and ignore things all together if that were the case.

He is probably afraid of his sexuality, so he want's a comfortable way to undo his confusion.
I still think its more likely that he probably has a huge social group that believes these things which he is part of, either familiar/intimate/frienship orientated.

My initial intent was not to "do damage"... my intent was to learn secular objections to a belief in God.
I did get my ass handed to me. How else is one to learn? Would I have gotten these responses at church? I may be completely new here, not in the Shroomery thou.
I realize now that my faith cannot be used to refute other objections or retorts to my claim.... I did bring up Desecrate and the ontological argument...so I wasn't 100% bullshitting....anyway thank you all for contributing

Is there anyone out there that thinks this is a little outrageous?

It may not be true in your case but it's not outrageous as a concept. Look at all the Catholic priests that sexually abused boys.
