You've just become rich...

... in an imaginative world. You created a successful website that gets 10's of thousands of visitors a month, with a hot niche and a product most people desperately want to buy.
You're no billionaire, but you are in the 30-40k per month range.
Where would you most permanently reside, what activities would you pursue, what would you do with your money... what would you do?
I've been imagining this lately for reasons I wish not to disclose, and it is exciting, but I'd like to hear your story.
Let's have some fun here

I'd probably live in California, or maybe Japan. I'd buy lots and lots of weed and books, and would probably donate the rest of the money.

Maybe Hawaii with a nice piece of private beach or Eastern Oregon on a private river with good fishing. I'd fish and hike and plant a garden and landscape the property. Then I'd do what I do now.

A private river / large stream with lush coastal wilderness sounds superb. Man I can't stop dreaming right now.

Yeah, well, it's not boring to me, and I'm a lot more likely to get my wish than you are.

I've been there mostly when I was very poor. All I owned was a backpack and a thumb but I covered a lot of Eastern Oregon and Yellowstone and Northern California. I didn't own any of it but have seen things many people wouldn't believe and never will see. In fact some of it is gone now. Living that life on the road, out of a pack and going out just to see what was there is something I'll never experience again. It was the best of times and I can see that now.

Didn't sound boring to me either. Sounds pretty nice and it would be fun to have a steady income to donate to the things you cared about.
What would be the first book you'd read?

Yes! among other things. All good entertainment. And the cost is minimal.

buy modest houses in nice areas all over the globe so you can travel where ever you want and always have a place relatively close where you could stay.

I would reinvest alot of the money and keep making more money and work my way up to being billionaire status. I wouldn't reinvest all the money I make off the website though I would buy a decent house, a new car, nothing really fancy and smoke tons tons of herb and in time be filthy rich.

Well luckily for me, I am already rich, and basically guaranteed to be rich for the rest of my life. I will probably just keep doing what I'm doing.

I would do what I do now, just in a bigger house with more toys. Teach, study, play with the dog and enjoy the outdoors with my wife.
