Nathan Horton Hit, Game 3 of Stanley Cup Finals.
    #14572473 - 06/07/11 12:41 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

That was brutal, I knew Canucks would lose the game after that hit, not just because of the penalty, but because Boston would be enraged.

Wonder if Rome will get suspended, it was a late hit but not super late.

Brutal hit though, look at how hard his head hits the ice.  Doubt he'll play for a long while.

Pretty late hit if you ask me. He should get suspended. Did the NHL ever even do anything about the guy biting the other one's finger? Canucks be playin' dirty.

After that happened I knew the Canucks weren't gonna win tonight.

But the game tonight was dirty on both ends, it just started with that.

The NHL didn't do anything about Burrows and him biting the other guys finger through his very padded glove. The dude was face washing him. And now both teams are pointing fingers at other peoples mouths.

Rome is suspended 4 games, so he's out of the playoff finals.  I think it was a little excessive but due to the injury Horton sustained, perhaps it was called for.  The finger biting thing should have just been a fine, but they did nothing lol.  Next game the refs will be super strict.

I'm at the Vancouver airport and I have yet to see anyone with a canucks jersey on hahaha......even the people on the plane were amused that I'd have the balls to wear it today.  They said if the plane crashes its because I was wearing it hahaha.  Damn Vancouver, root for your team even when they have a bad game!!!  GO CANUCKS GO!

ps. we got rid of horton woot

If you looked into it at all the coach asked him after the 5th goal if he wanted to come out and he said don't even think about it. Luongo was learning how they're playing since they didn't do much in the first two games.

I know right? Just let the damn dude swing his octopi. I'm sure they already clean up the ice some if an octopus is thrown.

I'm honestly shocked Boston has made it as far as they have. They really aren't that good. They won almost every game as the result of either Thomas or the other team playing like complete ass, like last night. Any close games I've seen resulted in a Boston loss almost every time. Only way Boston is winning the cup is because of Thomas or a complete break down by Vancouver. They're simply not good enough to beat Vancouver in close tight games.

Yup...look at every series they've been in. Thomas is the only reason they can win, or the other team playing like shit(mostly their goaltenders) they beat Montreal because of Thomas, and Montreal having shitty defense and Price not being able to handle it . They beat the Flyers because of Thomas and them not having a solid goalie. They beat the Lightning because Rolson is mediocre, and Thomas was on fire. Boston doesn't win close games, and since Nucks have a solid ace goaltender, the series is going to be the Nucks for the taking. The nucks are going to win tonight and take the victory at home Friday.
