What am I doing wrong?

I'm using WBS and straw layered in a monotub about 5-6 inches high. I've cased with 50/50 Verm/peat moss lime about an inch high. I use the light of a closet which is a normal light bulb. FAE 3x a day with a handheld fan. RH-water collects on all sides and sealed lid. My monotub has 6 holes, 4 filled with polyfill. ( All of them arent filled with polyfill because RH is too high) Pins have formed and are either stopped growing, or ceased to grow. Every time I have this issue. IDK what is going on. I've tried increasing FAE and I just dont know what I am possibly doing wrong. I'm using Treasure Coast and was thinking about changing strains but then I've seen plenty of success with this strain around this sight, and earlier in my career. Here's some pics
 My monotub

What little pins I do have are lining the edges and havent changed much in over a week.
P.S. I havent sprayed the casing at all until tonight for the reason that my monotub has stayed at, from what i can tell 100% RH. The walls are condensating. Could it have been my mistake to not mist, even though the RH was so high?

i have no clue what could cause this, everything you are describing in your techniques sounds solid...
my buddy wants to know what the pH of your moss peat is?

the peat moss by itself? or the 50/50 mix? and i'd need to get ph strips, I may have somewhere.

Your lower holes need to be at substrate level. To me it looks like too much CO2. But thats just my best guess.

I really dont see how an inch over substrate could make that much of a difference when you arent even supposed to have to FAE monotubs. Unless I misunderstood the basis of monotubs...

Yes fae is a must when fruiting. If not then your fruits are starved for fresh air. A basic remedy is to place a fan in the room on low, not pointed directly at ur tub. Or you could just manually fan more often for 10 sec. at a time. Just enough to disperse the stale air. But maybe someone else with more experience with monos could confirm or deny the lack of fresh air theory.

Im still new myself at everything but from what ive seen of my own and what you posted....id have to say a FAE peoblem. I say that because i ended up getting a small bit of aborts. I wasnt able to fan like i needed for my cakes and they were getting fuzzy and thick at the base. One pin was actually engulfed by the myc fuzz.
Get more fae and youll prob be good!

The problem with the fan is tht there's no outlet in my closet and a cord coming out of my closet isnt discreet. I mean 3-4 times is a lot. This will be a hassle if it turns out its FAE. god

If you cant find the time to maintain it then u may need to look into making it fully automated or building a martha. But either way u will have to use electric

I suggest using one of those things that are basically an outlet that screws into a light socket. Many of them have a socket in the bottom, into which you can then reinsert your bulb. This will allow you to have electricity in your closet.

How do you know that RH is to high? Condensation on the walls? That got nothing to do with RH...Condensation is only sign of temp difference inside the tub and outside! I think you should change your hole configuration(2 holes on the long sides at the sub level and one hole on short sides but higher) Use a lid of a tub for faning! Fan should run in side a room your growing! Maybe you should try different bulk sub(coir,h.poo)just to see what happend!
And for the end...maybe its genetic issue!

a week ago water was forming on the casing layer. So I assumed RH was fine..I'm believing it may be genetic..I just dont know though.
I could try to find a way to put a fan in there. because even the light switch idea is out because the light switch is on the outside.
EDIT: Assuming that it is not RH 100 how frequently should I mist the casing?

I would say it's an fae problem, fan more or get a fan in the room. Put a rug down to hide the cord coming out of the closet if you must, would be a lot more helpful.

Need way more fresh air in there. remove the polyfill, all of it. Remember the mushrooms grow where the climate is optimal. evaporation of moisture of the surface through fresh air is what makes pins. I'd even think most of the mushrooms line the side where the air holes are, but i can't see because of the quality of the pictures

I only recommend you to stop playing with your moisture set-up.
Make a set up (the same that had been correct then the pins gowns out ?
If i's full moisture stetting... whatever, they like it at 100 % !
NOTE TIPS: Take cake about the contact the could hijack your cake to to perlite. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN ! Yes perlite is a good source of water for mushroom but in reality it do the opposite than dry your cakes !

How long did you let them colonize?
Were you fanning and misting during colonization?
What strain are you using?
MS?
Did you check the pH of your lime, and peat?

Fanning? Yes Misting? No. Strain: Treasure Coast
What is MS?
And havent tested PH

I think you should invest into a 6500k bulb. Not that it'll help maintaining growth of fruits, but i do think it would help to initiate pinning. As far as your main problem, in my opinion, it's FAE. You said something about fanning 3 times a day; that's just not enough. RR recently said that fanning 3 or 4 times a day is like saying you need to breathe 3 or 4 times a day. You got to keep in mind CO2 will kill mushrooms, just as it would kill us after prolonged exposure. My advice, it's a redo. Check further into monos and their optimal properties, such as size, amount of holes, sizes of said holes, how dense the polyfill should be in the holes, etc. I'm not an expert in monos but i always heard that if you have everything right, you don't need a fan in the room...but that may be old info. i'm sure a small oscillating fan on low won't do any harm. i'd put it on a timer though.
finally, a last piece of advice. you mentioned that if you found out if it was FAE you'd be annoyed. Well that's the game, isn't it, you know? It's an experiment, hobby, adventure, not something that really can be rushed. You have to learn a lot before seeing significant results, and how do we learn, by falling and getting up again.
I hope i haven't sounded too preachy. It's just we all have a ways to go, let's have a bit of fun getting there!
P.S. As far as this tub goes, i agree with everything Invisiblevirus1824 said (plus a number of people who responded), remove the polyfill, then check the Rh with an analog hydrometer, i bet it's fine. also keep in mind that the saturation then evaporation off the surface of mycelium is the number 1 pinning trigger. Hope everything works out, keep us posted, and gl!

I mean, I have had success with just as much FAE as I do now. Its so wierd. My first grow was the most successful. I had a big fluorescent for it...and jiffy mix..may have to return to that.
