The two main games on PC that I want are BF3 and Skyrim. But my computer wont run it well. I have a 360 and PS3. Should I just get skyrim and bf3 on them or should I get a new PC? Also are there any other games on PC exclusively that look good? Also will you be able to play with PC and PS3 players if ur on a 360? thanks brahs.

- a pc to play games with graphics like xbox and ps3 is going to be at least $500
- many awesome PC games (imo consoles will never be able to mess with the PC graphics)
- no, xbox and ps3 are on their own networks
if you put in 30 hours or more a week playing on the PC would be worth it. a PC is a great tool not only for games.
best thing about building a PC is that you can start your base and keep building as you go ie more ram better video card.. you can then sell it on ebay or craigslist and not lose any money and start a new better project

i preferred pc gaming to console gaming when i used to game, basically because i never could really devote myself fully to just playing a game... you can set up dual monitors, play in windows mode, manage your downloads, chat on IM/IRC/Skype/Ventrilo yadda, play your music, browse the web, and virtually anything else you can think of on a computer... all while casually playing your game.. anyways, it's your experience, you should do whatever you want.
By and large most games aren't cross compatible with consoles and pcs, though I believe I read you can with Portal 2... hopefully they can set a precedent with that, but as things stand, if gaming with your friends is a major concern, I'd opt with getting games for whatever system the majority of your friends have

You would benifit greatly with a PC and BF3. The keyboard mouse controls plus better visuals if you put the money in will make it great.
Skyrim.... I don't see one or the other being much better, except for the community mods. That has always been a benifit for the PC crowd.
You could probably build a great computer for those games for under a grand and have them run beautifully, much better than a 360.
Myself, I will will get skyrim on the PC and my wife will play it on the 360.
Also if you want to be all stealy I am sure you could subtract the price of skyrim from the cost of the PC....

Once I started playing Counter-Strike on the PC I couldn't play FPS's on any other platform. Not long ago I was playing CoD with my brother on XB360 just trying to turn using a controller instead of a mouse made me want to put my head through a plate glass window.
There are a lot of great games on PC and more coming out, and the advantages of a new PC obviously speaks for themselves since there are so many things to do on one.

No way dude, you don't need $500 for a nice computer system that can kick the ass of consoles. People sometimes seem to use the more expensive brands and new lines as a refrence, but why would you do that?
I just bought a computer last year for like $330 that is far better than a console on any halfway decently coded game and is... a computer which means Microsoft or Sony hasn't locked me into some proprietary use, I can install whatever I want on it.
For example, I got a: Phenom II x4 2.8GHz 925 (or 920, I forget), a motherboard with USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0 (AM3) for $120
Then bought a GTX 460 for $150 after rebate.
Buy some 4 GiB DDR3 ram for 50$, and your done.
An XBox 360 or something isn't going to come close to a GTX 460, for example, and there were plenty of cheaper choices that I could have gotten that would still have been better, but I needed that series of card for an unrelated reason.
