Inoculating cows

I live in Florida and it just started hurricane season, so I need a second opinion on weather this is a good idea or not.
My mother recently purchased two beef cattle and they live on a couple acres of land outback of her house. I was wondering if it is possible to feed the cows spores? I imagine they will make it all the way through the cow and colonize in the poo once there expelled. If so, what El's do you think i should feed the cow to help mycelium colonization in the poo? I dont know what she feeds them now, I imagine they just eat grass and hay.
All opinions welcomed.

This is one psilo's have become so widespread, is it not?
Dude, just start your own compost pile out of their shit and spawn to that.
why go track down a (shit)-ton, ha puns, of patties and pick your mushies when you could just scoop some duke and have it all ready for harvesting?

ummm....from the get-go it wasn't the brightest comment. And everybody's allowed their own opinion. You didn't jump on Admiral Ackbar for his spore covered phallus comment. WTF? how about a little research before posting?

If you feed them, they will come
If they are enclosed to a smaller pasture then it would be easy and might be a pretty cool thing to observe. I would totally do that, and then also use the left overs to spawn to. It's a win win situation brother. Good vibes and good luck!

wasn't the "brightest comment" according to "YOU". This member has only 8 posts! He is obviously new to this forum and to cultivating
As far as the "Admirals" post.. I didn't catch it because it started off as an honest opinion. After re-reading it, it is funny as hell.
I still won't harp on his post because of the fact that he stated his honest opinion and then added his humor.
You just posted and added no value whatsoever other than some absurdity. Shish, at least "Try" to add value.

people are lazy as fuck. most of the misinformation spreading comes from old posts where people dont read the whole thread. they read the first post and the last post.
and if the last post says spores die in cows stomaches. i would rather post again and say thats not true.

If spores can't make it through the cows stomach(s) then how in the f*ck
do you think mushrooms get there? Green aliens just happen to land and
plant them in of all places.... Cow shit.

Cows stomachs are not like ours. Spores can make it all the way through.

makes sense. OT-I, however, would rather see a bunch of cows on micro-dot... wonder if anyone has ever done that? Also, I have a question of importance that is relevant to this thread. I've "herd" (get it?) that Angus cows and the white egret's are the main distributors of the spores. Is this true? No, I didn't use the search engine.

i would agree with the stool transplant related option.
they do that in the medical world to get proper bacteria into or out of peoples rectums.

I would imagine that any type of cattle is prone to distribution as long as they are grazing and have access to spores. Haven't herd of egrets; interesting...

Egret's eat the bugs off the poo, then fly to another pasture. Poop bird poop, which in turn helps distribute them. So-on and so-forth.....that's the gist of it...
