how moist do u like it ?
    #14574947 - 06/07/11 03:06 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

http://

Do u think that's to moist / wet ? sub has what looks like little air bubbles on surface. Tray is in gh at 88-91% hum & temp of 70-73. Gh has ultra sonic &  one of those fan humidifiers for fae on  4 off  8 no dripping onto sub put a couple small slits on all 4 sides. First tray I've done. Any input would be much obliged!!

Thanks to all keeping the movement alive .. everything pretty much I've learned from here so thanks..

That myc doesn't look cased...

Also, that humidifier you're using isn't allowing any evaporation to happen, perhaps fanning would help instead. They need evaporation.

The humidity you posted and temps sound right...

Yes! Way to wet.

And he never said he had a casing?^^^

You need more fresh air, less moisture. If it stays like that, I bet the humidity is higher then what your saying, and your rh meter sucks. Forget the meter, forget the walls of the fruiting chamber, what you look at is the substrate. Moisture like that is fine if its just been misted heavily and your going to give it time for that to evaporate, and it should over a few hours..if it always looks like that, you need alot more holes. I used a soldering iron and melted holes every 3 inchs or so on my greenhouses..

There's no way that's dropping to 75%.  It's totally saturated and then is getting way too much water added after saturation.  Get rid of the ultrasonic and increase air exchange.

Is sounds like you need to calibrate your hygrometer if it's mechanical, and if it's digital, calibrate it by placing behind your car tire just before you back up.
