The strongest acid known to man
    #14574934 - 06/07/11 03:02 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

Truly a superacid. Fluoroantimonic acid is 20 quintillion (2x1019) times stronger than 100% sulfuric acid. :aweoverdose:

1. Buy in bulk
2. Put on trippy blotter paper
3. ???
4. Profit

Wow, it also protonates almost all organic compounds, and it explodes when mixed with water.

Guys remember that allthough this acid is insanely strong, the actual work it can do is very small for an acid. If you have a quantity of lets say Iron and want to dissolve it, you'll find you need 5x as much fluoroantimonic acid by weight as you would sulfuric acid to get the job done.

Fun would be if you could somewhat stabilize H+ as an acid. It would be a stronger acid than fluoroantimonic acid, it would be a gas and it could do 50x as much work as sulfuric acid or 260x as much work as fluoroantimonic acid.

At what temperature would protons fuse into alpha-particles? If you heat up hydrogen so that the electrons are stripped away from the nucleus without the later undergoing termonuclear fusion you might be able to get a mixture of electrons and protons in a gas phase. Then apply some sort of electric field and isolate protons in a gas phase in some sort of a electrostatically isolated polytetrafluoroethylen chamber.

And then do some evil deeds with it :gameover:

BTW just noticed my post sounded very arrogant.  I didn't mean anyone here being dumbed down...  I mean the TV zombies every where round here.  You talk about this stuff to them and they shun you like its bad to be intellectual :mad2: and turn on an episode of friends believing they should emulate a load of actors gaining social rank by pretending to be retarded.

Its an 8 week project in the medical school near my house. Basically I'll have to freeze rat nerves, cut them into 14micron slices and stain them with fluorescent antibodies to quantify the expression of a certain cell-surface receptor that is presumably involved in nociception (pain sensing) in the jaw region. I'll continue to work at my old place where I'm doing dumbfucking shit like being a waiter or a bartender and that kinda crap.

I agree on teh TV zombies. Pretty much everyone is like that around me. Its the reason why I dont even bother talking to anyone no more :ohwell: Fuck them, I've got the shroomery :sun:

Damn I burped and a whole intact pill came out of my throat :awedisgust: Now I see why it says to be taken in with some water.
