games at e3 are looking pretty nice
    #14572238 - 06/06/11 11:27 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

these videos are looking so bad ass, you should give me a 5 shroom rating just for posting them.

modern warfare 3:
google.com%2F&has_verified=1

battlefield 3:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2011-battlefield-3/714909

far cry 3:

these games are all looking REALLY bad ass. a lot of people were complaining that far cry 2 sucked compared to far cry 1, the exploration took too long, and the stuck on an island theme of far cry 1 was MUCH better.

anyway, this game seems to combine the best of both worlds, it looks like fucking cry sis. it seems to have the stuck on an island feel of far cry 1, but the great graphics and exploration of far cry 2, i'm guessing the exploration won't be as intense since so many people bitched about that in the first one, but hopefully it's nothing that sucks that you'd want to flick shit from a stick at. I mean I liked the exploration of far cry 2, A LOT, just that it took like 5 days to beat the game going over the same areas over and over and over again. hopefully this one finds a bit of a balance.

tell me this e3 wasn't kicking ass. btw anybody buying duke nukem forever next week on june 14th? I'm hoping it'll turn out good, the demo was decent.

they are coming out with halo 4? Jesus, that game never stops. lol to be honest that game drives me nuts. power locking and shit, shit really gets on my nerves.

plus every halo game they make gets further and further away from the originals like halo 1 and 2. the only halos I really enjoyed. oh well...

what looks so great about Halo 4? Compared to say ... bf3? Nothing at all about MW3 looks appealing, just a cookie cutter copy of all the other ones. They need to stop and do something different but then they would lose all the lil 12yos that support there sillyness.

bf3 will be epic and will set the standard for gnarlyness.

Well yeah Reach and ODST didn't add on to Halo 3 but $ leaves off from the legendary ending of Halo 3 if you ever saw it.

Weird though, everyone used to love that game now it's a target for flaming.

Nothing about the looks of halo 4 drew me in cuz so far there's only a teaser, but just the idea of a Halo 4 excites me cuz I've bee wanting to know what happens after Halo 3 since it came out and I beat it, but just kept getting prequel games that didn't tell me anything new.

I loved the first far cry, but i never really played the second, it just didnt seem like the first at all and i was disappointed. the third looks sweet, but there seems to be little shit that i dont like. the +15 when he gets a kill and that one knife kill where he also threw the knife into another guy. idk, just seems a bit too automated for me.
Halo 4 could be a sweet game, but they have to make it according to their roots.
And battlefield looks amazing

Halo 4 could be sweet, so could MW3. the problem is, they dont do anything new. Just new textures, new maps, new characters, new story. thats not what I want in new games. I want new technology, new ideas, new gameplay features, I want progress damnit. Its 2011 and studios are still making games like its the turn of the century. Game studios get stuck in this rut thinking if they change anything or do anything drastic they will lose there crucial fanbase i.e. MONEY.

far cry 2 was hardly automated, and some people thought this was a problem. I don't like super automated games either, but I'm guessing far cry 3's exploration will make up for it, and hopefully far cry 3 will have intense sniper fights that I doubt will be automated. far cry 2 had a lot of cool things like a mortar tube you could use to fire at enemies, was really hard to pin point but fun to use. hopefully far cry 3 will bring back all these elements. if nothing else far cry 2 was just TOO long and repetitive, but the exploration was REALLY fun, and the weapons really fun. aside from a few really repetitive things I thought it was a really fun game. really hoping we get some cool crysis type game play with far cry 3 with the cool far cry original type story lines.

i never even bothered with crysis 2, yeah it looks great, but the story just looks like it dwindles on forever and ever. the new york actual locations look beautiful and really cool to explore though. but w/e, battlefield 3 and modern warfare 3 look beautiful as well. hard to be disappointed with really things like that.

pick up duke nukem forever next week, should be really close to the old style of game play. if you played duke 3d you should see some similarities. 1996 game play style elements in a brand new video game should actually be like practically brand new in todays world of game play elements. I'm really interested to see if it brings back the old key and lock element of gaming, haven't seen that in awhile.

to be perfectly honest, I could care less, I'm over it. I'm done. I need new things, I just realized the other day that most every video game I have and have played just sucks. For me its all about replay value, I'm not going to spend 60$ on a game and then beat it in 12hrs of play, then have to pay an additional 30$ in DLC just to keep me interesting. aint going to work and thats how most games operate these days. BadCo2 is all I will play these days its incredibly fun even after 600hrs played.

Battlefield looks promising. Also, so does Dead Island, I picked up a magazine on it yesterday and judging by what I read, it might just outdo L4D2

bad company 1 still what I believe to be most interactive war game, really large open ended exploration, tanks, helicopters, you name it, I'm definitely not saying battlefield 3 is going to be lame, it's the second video I posted

i like bd c 1 better. way larger environments. bad company 2 is to me just too scripted. but if you like bdcmpy 2 i don't see why you won't be picking up battlefield 3, it's supposed to outdo every battlefield game since then, we only have to wait 4 and a half months until we play it I guess

here watch this shit, in HD, most epic tank experience I've seen ever.

also bdc1 was fun, but idk how you can say its maps were bigger then bc2? Have you played HeavyMetal? It takes you roughly 15minutes to run from one side to the other.

lol i posted that video in my op. it's the second video. it is epic, we don't even know the full extent of this game's epic ness, they have jet battles in this game as well, pretty fucking epic man.

but as for saying call of duty sucks, cod as a franchise suck, vince zampella and jason west were awesome, they did medal of honor aa. those 2 take the most time to speak with the veterans before they design the game, trying to get authenticity into their games, them being fired means by default that modern warfare 3 will suck. the only other people that take so much time to consolidate with veterans before making a game, would probly be dice. without zampella and west, cod is going to drop real soon.

i still think zombies are fun tho... yeah that tank battle is epic, we have yet to see helicopter game play or jet battles.

I think Halo 4 could be different from all the rest. The potential is definitely there, cuz it's not being made by Bungie, and I could definitely see a company that's making a really popular game trying to outdo the original company that made the games.

I like the dynamics of the inside of that tank tho, its cool how it has a gun counter type thing that lets you know how heated your gun is, also the counter goes down the faster you drive, and a COMPASS!!!!! OMG haha see its simple things like that that is going to make this game supreme.

I can't fucking wait for BF3. Even that damn trailer gives me a sound orgasm with my 7.1 speakers on high volume and bass, shit.
