Actually I think trolling is characterized by saying things in order to warrant an emotional response. That's what you've just tried to do.

I, Kind of have to agree with all of that. Still If they hadnt arrested the first few over it there wouldnt have been a mass influx of hippies following the scent of the latest protesting fad.

My mom is dead and I never knew my father. What I do not believe in is a moderator
on a forum that spends all of his time disagreeing with people and calling them out
beacuse they are not in line with your ideologies. I could have easily been one of thos
people in that group  so sorry if I take offense to your remarks. Pretty asshole thing
to say based on baseless asumptions.

I'm no fan of the Democrats, but your post is entirely misleading. The Dems used to have many social conservatives (especially in the "solid South") that switched sides almost overnight in the 60s due to segregation, so to say someone was an early 20th century Democrat means virtually nothing as it relates to the present.

really, so how's that obama marijuana legalization thing working out

Quote:

You are wrong to say that the GOP is the party fighting to repeal prohibition (not that the establishment Dems are, either.) 70-90% of GOPers want the state to arrest people for merely possessing marijuana, which is a much higher figure than for Dems.

so you dont mind posting the source for those statistics do you or did you
simply pull them out of your ass, there's been dozens of threads showing
the republicans fighting for legalization, the exact oppsite of what
you're claiming

we've seen Obama and his senate campaign where he stated that he'd vote to
legalize yet obama had abstained from voting on every marijuana bill
presented, then came the campaigns where he talked like he was all for it
but wouldnt let anyone pin him down with any actual answer, this is a
sample of the democratic party you're defending, the same kind you say are
all about some lealization

those sources for your statistics would be nice

Quote:

The largest bloc in the U.S. wanting to repeal prohibition is progressives (whether or not the align themselves w/the Dem party, which those like myself do not.)

lol.

that's all I have to say about that

Quote:

It is true that right-wing (economically-speaking) libertarians (i.e. not the militarist & socially conservative Tea Party, & definitely not the GOP establishment) make up the 2nd largest block fight to get rid of prohibition, but progressives are the largest, & we have opposed it from the beginning due to its racist & anti-poor people nature and implementation.

seems progressives arent very smart to begin with, color/race isnt defined
anywhere in the drug laws, nor is it mentioned, seems the progressives are
misguided into thinking the law is racist just as they're being led to
believe that they're the largest group fighting for legalization,
serious;y, if the largest groups which is primarily democrat, the second
largest which is the republicans and the 3rd largest group which is the
libertarians are all fighting for the same goal, why's it not legal

because those progressives, like the blue dogs are yanking your chain, you
may know where you stand on the issues but you certainly dont know what's
actually going on with the masters yo serve

you said 70-90% of GOPers, with data collected in 2005 as the most recent which seems to be where most sources are drawing their info from, old data

yet here we have in recent polling data 81% of the US supports legalization

Quote:

medical marijuana receives majority support across the political and ideological spectrum. Even conservatives, at 68 percent, and Republicans, at 72 percent, support legalizing medical marijuana.Support is even greater among liberals (90 percent) and Democrats (85 percent).

http://patients4medicalmarijuana.wordpress.com/2010/01/19/81-percent-support-legalizing-marijuana-for-medical-use/
Quote:

Medical marijuana, for its part, receives majority support across the political and ideological spectrum, from 68 percent of conservatives and 72 percent of Republicans as well as 85 percent of Democrats and independents and about nine in 10 liberals and moderates. Support slips to 69 percent among seniors, vs. 83 percent among all adults under age 65.

no mention of 'progressives', unless they're liberals or democrats which
I'm sure they are since the liberals are trying to now distance themselves
from the democratic party in name only, after all, Pelosi, Reid and Obama
are all Progressives... what was obamas stance "The obama administration
has no intention of trying to legalize marijuana"

Quote:

As for race & poverty, take a look at stats of those incarcerated for drug offenses...

ok, let's look at those incarcerated for drug offenses, first, how many
street dealers are busted in relation to people dealing from their homes,
now how many of those street dealers are white. seems they bring this
alleged racism on themselves if they're stupid enough to sell drugs in the
streets

second, how many are repeat offenders, what percentage of repeat offenders
are white and how many black

third, how many were also associated with violent crime yet it's the drug
offenses that are being brought to our attention by the race baiters
trying to claim these laws to be racist. blacks also are responsible for a
far higher percentage of violent crimes

fourth, what's the percentage of blacks to whites coping to a plea

care too show us in the law where it says black people need to be arrested
for drugs and white people need to be let go instead of incarcerated.
here's the actual numbers of incarcerated persons, why are hispanics the
lowest if it's about poverty and race? why are white women incarcerated
more often than black women

2009
Male Population
Whites - 693,800
blacks - 841,000
hispanics - 442,000

Female Population
Whites - 92,100
Blacks - 64,800
hispanics - 32,300

Are you under the assumption that there's more blacks at poverty level
than whites? more than twice as many whites (26mil) are below poverty
level than blacks (12mil) and hispanics (16mil) exceed the number of
poverty level blacks by more than 4 million... so maybe neither race nor
poverty play a role in this except to those that want the skewed data to
try and push the racist agenda
http://www.statehealthfacts.org/profileind.jsp?rgn=1&cat=1&ind=14

remember this statement?
Quote:
