of course, that's assuming you DID find them on shit, they look 100% right to me, but just fyi, the spores need to be purple, not black, and the bruising needs to be blue-green, not purple. cut the stem in 2....turn blue?

Yep found them in Florida I cut the stem in two, and I havn't taken a spore print yet. I'm guessing that it will be black because of the black gills, but who knows maybe it will be purple. it's not quite the middle of june yet I hope they pop up soon. No rain, maybe i'll go out and water the shit lol. Does that work?

Gill color and spore print color do not need to coincide. In the case of Psilocybe species (which include P. Cubensis), gills might look black but the print has a purple hue. Spore print color must be dark purple.

I guess he's referring to spore deposits across the stem.
sun, bruising is a reaction which occurs when the mushroom is damaged and sometimes when it's handled. Just perform the paducahovoids test cutting the stem in half. Bruising blue should occur in the cut.

watering the patty DOES work. You could go get that pat, and bring it home. Sure makes hunting easy
