If they turned out to be paneolopsis, how would (or could) one go about cultivating them. Spore print->LC->Grainspawn->Substrate?

No way mine are pan paps, they weren't growing from dung.I have found a ton of pan paps this year in the cow pastures none of which look like this at all.I would bet money that you have some paneolopsis too:-)I never got a spore print from mine, nor have I ever found anymore, but I intend too next time it rains. Also,I could care lees if they are active or not,I just think it's a cool rare find, and if I was to bet on it,I would say they most likely aren't any way:-)

Is the only way to tell if they are active is through an identification report?

I have to agree with Ieponumos, they look just like the Panaelopsis that one of the TIs found on the campus of the university of southern california berkeley a couple of week ago. Good find man

Impossible with a wild print and never a good idea with spores. Agar is where it's at, LC is a fool's game.

Cultivate them, eat 50, and then we can talk about activity. Things like this interest me very much.
