Yellowish spots- is this a contamination?

Hey guys, this is my first grow using the pf tek on BRF cakes. Most all of my cakes are close to being fully colonized, however, on one of them I noticed these two yellowish blobs developing. I figured I might as well consult the experts.
Let me know what you guys think,
Much appreciated!
Matt

those look like pins to me.
100% honestly, they look like stones developing.
What strain is it?
Also, have you used those jars before? cuz it looks like they have shoulders, if they do it's going to be a PITA getting the cakes out.

It is hard to tell with your pictures, they quite possibly could just be pins
but your jars do not even appear to be fully colonized so that leads me to believe it may be a contamination.
Isolate the jar to be safe.
going to have some problems ahead of you using those jars either way but best of luck

The strain is Ban Hua Thanon.
Sorry if the pictures are a little fuzzy, it's hard to get a good look inside the jar because the surface is so shiny and reflects. I actually thought those were the right kinda of jars? Wide mouth 1/2 pints. I also have whole pint jars, and taller 1/2 pints colonizing too so hopefully one of them will work ideally.
Thanks for the opinions so far guys. Although I don't really think it is premature pinning. The jar also doesn't look fully colonized because some of the dry verm ended up falling down the sides.

those look like WM 1/4 pints, not 1/2 pints, TBH...

lol I actually just tried to get a cake out of one of those flatter jars and it's FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE. I even tried to break the jar with a hammer and man that thing was tough. I ended up putting it back haha. I think I'm going to have to crumble those ones and case them or something cause I don't see them coming out in one piece.

yea, you want straight jars (like your pint jars) but as 1/2 pints for cakes...
The shouldered jars are for grains, cuz we break those up anyways.

Intense man! hahaahahha. Lesson learned right?
Your are soon to find out that crumbling the cake inside the jar is also going to be very hard to do successfully..unless u just spoon her out gently i suppose
another option you may consider is to fruit them out of the jars
i have done that with a cake by accident before, they will grow up and out

Yeah I was planning to just use a spoon or fork to crumble the cake into a baggy. But hey, I might try leaving just one in the jar and see how it does.
Thanks for the advice man!
