Rate of Colonization

I've got my 12 PF jars incubating, and they've been there for about two weeks now. About half of them are @ like 30-40% colonized from what I can see. However, there are a couple that just have the minimal amounts of mycelial growth showing. They were all made with the same batch of substrate and they're kept in the same growing conditions. What's causing the "slackers," and how can I remedy this? Currently all the jars' innoculation holes are covered with a breathable cloth tape. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

In my friends experience, stalled jars are usually caused by two factors: lack of adequate air exchange and/or lack of moisture.

If you did not shake your syringes well between inoculations, your "slackers" may have not received their fair share of spores.

What temp are these jars incubating in ?
And is this temp "constant" , or does it fluctuate ?
