506 deadlift tonight, was planning on doing it for a double, but the forst rep was soooo slow there was no point in trying for the second. look on the bright side, it's the best DL I've done this year.

I had a great workout. I started a new 4 week program.
Today I did a workout involving all multi joint movements, supersetting agonist/anagonist movments (e.g. pullup and push press). I did a tempo of 30X (X being explosive) and I had a rest period of 120. I 6 sets of 4 reps.
I felt great today in every lift. My form is becoming impeccable, which makes the effects of lifting 10 X greater.
I cant wait till my next day. I am doing heel raised back squats one and a quarter style and jefferson lunges! I love jefferson lunges!

Nice man, should be proud of that lift!

I actually did mixed grip pullups. One hand under and one hand over.
How much do you weigh?

With my palms facing away from me I can do 18 maybe 20 with good form. With my palms facing towards me I can get 30 and sometimes a few more.
I weigh 180 lbs.

It's nice again & should be for at least a week or two, so look forward to running again on non-lifting days. Within a couple weeks I should be down to 190, b4 starting my next creatine cycle (which I haven't done for several months now... I've just been hovering 190-200.)
Those are pretty impressive pullup numbers.
How long did it take you to get there?

Surprisingly I nailed another workout after a long, arduous and stressful day at work. I am very pleased with the consistancy I am developing. Half the battle was calling it quits at a decent hour during the work week (no crazy Over time on Mon/Wed/Fri.)
Today was:
Circuit - 5x:
15 pushups 5 BB delt raises (5' bar) 10 BB curls (50lbs) <---LOL 10 KB Halos (40lb) 10 KB Upright Rows (60lbs) 10 Leg raises 10 crunches
Then:
3x5 Deadlift - 295 1x5 Deadlift - 305 1x5 Deadlift - 325 <--- All Sumo
5x10 Bent over rows palms out (100lbs) 5x10 Shrugs (100lbs)
________________________________________________________
This is pretty typical of my routine since christmas. A similar workout, with variations on the "warm up" swapping out BB work for KB swings or presses.
No heavy barbell pulls on Wednesday...
I am seeing massive development in my physique, and my deadlift numbers are going way up. I am lifting 80% of my 1RM for 5x5 with ease. I am quite surprised, no struggle whatsoever. I am thinking about testing my 1RM again soon...
Anyone have any programs or ideas on how to train and approach a 1RM attempt for Deadlift?

Really been slacking with the diet and lifting these past two or three weeks that seem to blend together in a drug induced haze. I have been taking lots of downers and uppers that I am pretty sure are catabolic. I definitely was a little weaker today in the gym, and really needed a warm up to not injure myself with too much weight too quick.
Still got a pretty good workout in. I have changed my focus from number of lbs. to quality of form. All lifts are done very slowly with as much tension held in the targeted muscle group as possible. Definitely seeing better pump from this!
I've only gained like two lbs. this whole time too, so I think I can go from 183 to 175 this week if I stick to the low carb.

Fuck the opiates man, I've known too many people who've died either cuz they got an extended release oxy, or took a break then went back to it, or got more potent shit than they were used to. My ex's cousin died cuz he'd lost like 10# and kept the dose the same. Your body changes and it risky as shit man, not to mention imprisonment.
I did my 5x7 at 345 this morning, and fuck me in the shithole it sucked. I about passed smooth out on my last set. I took too long off, so I'm a little behind, but I'll catch up quick!
Yeah, don't worry about coming off as rude. I need the truth and the truth is usually rude... So I am dopesickish and have a full day of classes today 8am-9pm. Have to see my p/o sometime Wednesday. This one spot on my arm looks horrible. like a spider bite that has a huge bruise... I think it was from attempting a drunken shot, misfired once and was just brutaly pulling up on the needle... Yeah, I have had enough fun with the tar for a while, I hope... It's just so fucking good. I usually stay away because its like 100mg/$50 and only good for one good shot. Right now I am getting 150mg for $50 and its like 6 good almost kill your ass shots... I think that I need to get some more mxe and say fuck the H. I am thinking of not doing any drugs at all but it is becoming harder and harder for me to say no... As for my current motivation, a friend extorted me out of $500 and I don't work, just school so yeah that is killing me I am going to get some D-AA and creatine, maybe something else and get on a 12 week cycle. 2 weeks of warm-up 8 weeks D-AA, etc and 2 weeks of warm-down... Then off to get more than my $500... I could easily do a ton of damage to this fuck right now but he is expecting it and I am going to enjoy soo much squatting, d/l, pressing thinking of how much more force I am going to be able to put behind my self. So today is Tuesday, By friday I will be back in the gym getting used to things again. I would go before then but damn this dopesick bullshit is no fun. I dont have it that bad either, just flulike symptoms. Oh I did a mini 24hour juice fast. It was simply amazing. I can't wait to do a full month... or 10 days.

Dude start going to NA meetings and get you a sponsor before you end up in jail again. Your PO is gonna know, they've probably seen it enough time. Relapses suck, and it's all fun til you wake up dead or have a tube down your throat and you're in the ICU cuz your kidneys are dead, then you've got dialysis your whole life unless your kidneys start up again. It really isn't worth it, you'll get more enjoyment out of seeing the results in a gym.

Yah I dunno www if your already on parole beating up some dude sounds way counter productive on top of the roids an opiates
Bronco is really worried bout you an so are the rest of us but you can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink. <~~~~~~~~~~ one of the hardest lessons I've ever had to learn I thought I could be superman to my friends an family I thought I could save or protect them from harm but people don't learn that way......an unfortunately some never do because they die before it sinks in or just end up in a cycle of constantly being either in jail or probation an that's it. an it sucks but that's life.

I've just had too many friends end up in the system, and known too many people who've been totally screwed over by their addictions. One of my really good buddies had to screw up three times before he got it into his head that work is a better way to earn money than slinging. He's doing great now, but there's always that fear he's gonna end up in the pen.
I totally screwed myself yesterday be deciding that I'd get home from school and change then hit the gym. Had to run some errands after class, so I made the excuse I'd change when I got home, then I got held up talking to a buddy, so I never went to the gym. Pretty angry with myself cuz it was my 10 sets of 3 day at 365. My legs are looking and feeling great when I'm consistent, and I almost feel like they carry me better after training them. My diet has cleaned up significantly, and I visibly look thinner around the midline. Gotta motivate myself to do other body parts either on off days or after my squats.

I was feeling kind of run down today, but then got a second wind when the sun came out. Managed a quick, relatively easy workout, still fairly spent in the upper body though from OHP and bent over row.
