Next workout I'm gonna be doing. Birthday in March, gonna figure a goal for it. Depending on if I hit my 5-5-4 (pretty sure I won't hit the DL 5, but a 4 would be good) I'll base my goal on that. Gonna be doing this one clean too.

Lmao that's hilarious! I may post a pic soon to let you redeem yourself indica. My calves look like a long distance runner's whereas my thighs are meaty as fuck. Even my family has started calling me turkey legs. I've never been able to put mass on my calves, even when I was hitting them hard and putting effort towards it. I wish I had German blood lol those fuckers have full on steers for calves.

Probably had the best workout i've ever had.
I've finally given in and bought both a preworkout and whey protein. I was sick of trying to navigate through all the bullshit opinions and marketing online, so i decided to throw caution to the wind and follow the opinion of the guy from the local supplement store.
Here are the products i chose:
PHD Wired - $53cdn for 60 servings.

Ultimate Nutrition 100% Whey protein - $44cdn for 5lbs

Any opinion on these products?
The preworkout is definitely drinkable and left me highly stimulated and tingly in the face for the first half hour. I have increased alertness, focus, and endurance/fatigue resistance. Now, if i can still take this and fall asleep 5 hours later i will be set.
The Whey tastes great mixed with Milk, and i assume will lead to increased size and recovery + i am hoping it will help fill a gap in my nutrition, which has taken a dive the last few months.

Ultimate power could be good, never heard of phd wired though. Assault is good stuff, dark energy is the best but you won't sleep lol.

Alot of the stuff you guys mention isn't available in Canada - jack3d and mesomorph i think, along with some others.
What do you think of the ingredient list though?

Looks fine to me. The itching is from the arginine and beta-alanine. Too bad you don't get DMAA in Canada. They sell the stuff all over the place for about $1/gram. With a strong dose at 30mg it's a great buy. I am using dark energy right now, but am dropping it Jan 1. I am switching to only beta-alanine/arganine for the month. I've been taking this DMAA stuff for like 6 months with no off cycle... I don't think the w/d will be bad. In Feb I will start back on some pwo, maybe hemo rage black, and I want to try another test booser. After that cycle its going to be running/KB/cal's for the summer. I was going to stop lifting all together. I want to be able to do 100 pushups and 25 pullups at a crack. Oh and I want to loose the 30lbs I've gained...
New diet starts tomorrow. Or the next day... Some time this week for sure lol. Going back to beans, brown rice, eggs, nuts, meat. No processed foods, or not much... I dairy too much to let it go. Should be a great year. I am going to add 100lbs to all of my lifts and get cut the fuck up.

PDU,:: Optimum makes really good stuff, and that is a very good choice in protein. Never heard of that pre-workout though, but these days new brands are popping up every day, and they are mostly have the same types of ingredients, so it should get the job done. Everyone is different so you will have to see if it works for you.
Bronco: I have taken BCAA's long term before, but never noticed really much of a difference it was, scivation x-tend drink mix. But I was bulking at the time, so that might be why. I know when cutting and reducing calories etc. BCAA's are supposed to be more useful in preserving the muscle, I'm now actually taking pill BCAA's pre and post WO made by Sci-Fit since I am cutting. I figure for $8 a month supply bottle it couldn't hurt to try. I've also been on and off EC stack for a few weeks but thinking of giving it a rest, since I already shed a lot of fat and water- i'm afraid it will burn out my adrenal receptors or something if I take it too long.
Indica Eh don't worry too much about calves, they are the most genetic-dependent muscle I think of, and most every person has tons of trouble building them up unless giant calves were in their gene pool.

If you want a test booster you should really check out HCGenerate, it's really an awesome product, the only test booster that has actually done anything for me, tons of great reviews on it too. A little pricey though but I think it's worth it.

ephidrine + caffeine > everything else I've tried for cutting and keeping muscle by far... both price and results
and from what I've read lately, all the scares from this stack are highly over exaggerated ... in fact, as long as you use it chronically at the same dose, the better it works... even after the tolerance to the stimulating effects kicks in... as long as it's for fat loss, not the stimulating effect.
I had a shitload of links proving this, but my hard drive crashed a few months ago and I'm not about to go finding them all again, or I'd post em :P
and I'm glad to read that about calves, seems to be the one muscle I can't make any progress with, no matter how hard I try
