Deal lift is a lifting exercise. When you go down, just worry about form, set it down, then get into proper LIFTING form, and start your new rep. When you do clean you don't put the bar right where you start from, just close. Just like when benching, you can deviate where tue end of the lift is, but you wanna lower it right back to the same spot (above the nipples) before you lift again. You'll be fine buddy, but that's why you lower the bar completely between reps.
-------------------- I challenge you to challenge yourself more! When you feel complacent and ready to hang it up, challenge yourself to get over it! If you fail, don't look at it as you didn't succeed, look at it as you would a rock face you're trying to climb. Stand back, wayyyy back, and look at it and plot another path. If you can't find one, shuffle down the way a little, a little change of scenery or a view from a different angle may give you the insight you need. Anything I state is relayed information from a friend of a friend and should be viewed as completely fictitious. I do not partake in any illegal or grey-area-of-the-law activities, but do have lots of friends who may or may not. -fngbronco Pill Divider Agar Tek

protip: when benching, lower the bar to where it feels most comfortable/natural. for some people, above the nipples feels best, but if it doesn't, don't do it that way because of some guy on the internet.

None take, I go to right below, and in fact I don't touch my chest unless I'm arching my back for power. I go to 90° in my arms, stop, then go back up. I was just posting what I've read as "proper" form. Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym, the fluid in my leg has finally subsided for the most part.

I always touch where the bottom of my pec ends. It is probably an inch below my nipple.

yeah pure pub talk... I've been away a lot... still away actually... I was reading all my old facebook posts last night from back earlier last year and one was like "OMFG 90kg squat! EPIC!"
I kinda miss the self-imposed isolation where it was
wake up gym eat powerlifting thread eat go for walk eat powerlifting thread sleep
I had removed myself entirely from social situations and was getting into a pretty dark mental place... this month and a half off has been good but I've been getting into a bit of trouble and I REARRY RACK DISCIPRINE so yeah, soon my pretties
great to see you all still at it, keep lifting hard brethren.. .I really want to try this intermittent fasting, I'm seeing fantastic results from my brother who is now doing 150kg atlas walks and 260kg/573lbs deadlifts and equally ridiculous squats whilst maintaining extremely low bodyfat (leangains seems to be working incredibly well for him.... am very envious)

I might aim for more bodybuilding, I'm going to put together my own program consisting of a 3x5/5x5 compound program with a 50/50 ratio of strength and bodybuilding (ya know, with the whole 3-5x10-15 movements)
see how that goes, I was really enjoying growing on 5/3/1... i could feel myself growing... intense

When I was at my strongest a year and a half ago, I was massive. I think my arms were 18.5", which on a 6'3" frame doesn't look as big as it should. I'm still shooting for my 500-500-400 goal by new years, I just gotta get of my lazy ass and do this!

I took a break when my cycle ended and didn't touch a weight for a few weeks. Started back and after 1 week I was back into the old routine and gaining my strength back like I hadn't ever stopped. I was surprised, first at how it felt to lift after a break, then second how quickly I was back at it. Feels fucking great to be back after a break too. I hadn't taken more than a week in like 3 years. Now it's all exciting again.

anyone use animal pak supplements? im on the forums those guys are pretty hardcore there is also alot of good advice but im talkin the paks specifically anyone tried em? im thinkin of grabbing a 1 month supply of the cuts for 26$ on amazon. the ingredients looked legit....
http://www.animalpak.com/store/html/product.cfm?id=11
And anyone got suggestions for hunger suppressants/energy? i work graveyard shift an i need energy but not lookin to eat heavy carbs late at night. I remember back in the day stacker 3 would amp me up so hard i was literally like nauseous and i had to kinda force myself to eat. ideally lookin or something like that because honestly switching to overnites has FUCKED my diet an im not gonna be goin back to days for a loooooooong time as it stands.

The animal cuts contain stool softener/laxatives so be careful. I tried it once ans definitely liked the energy but the bowel movements weren't too pleasant. I do need to save up and buy like a year supply of the vitamins though, those give you energy, and from my experience, actually make me feel and look healthier. As for the methyl stack and t stack, you'd be better off buying ecdysterone (my next purchase of supplements will be this). I've heard unreal reviews on ecdysterone and I'm really interested to try it myself.
