Dave Mustaine! I just listened to "Killing Is My Business...And Business Good!" for the first time from the cd I bought.

i like screaming vocals myself. that's only because i rather suck at singing... but it does make you feel as badass as you'd imagine i'm not anywhere near as good/badass as any metal band i like the guy from Mastodon's voice. also, tFOT isn't really metal, but i like Thomas Erak's tone of scream

Dude, I love Megadeth and I used to frequent their boards a a few years back. His vocals aren't that harsh but they are indeed unique.

My favourite screamer is probably Richard Patrick from Filter. I haven't heard their newer albums but Title of Record as well as their cover version of the song One are essential to my sound library. I find them particularly enjoyable when I'm in a i-want-to-get-drunk-home-alone-and-punch-the-wall mood

I love the sound of Francis screaming in my ear.
Deftones and Acid Bath have some great singers as well.

hmm what about more of a electronic type feel with screams and harsh vocals such as Asking Alexandria, Attack Attack!, Abandon All Ships!, and Breath Carolina. I'm pretty sure those bands are who im reffering to

Quo Vadis - Silence calls the storm
definitely not the best vocalist out there, but the roar at the beginning is just ridiculous

lamb of god is great, although my all time favorite metal vocal definitely has to be Chris Barnes from six feet under (ex- cannibal corpse), the man is insane
that is powerful.
Female, I'd have to go with Candace Kucsulain (Walls o Jericho) or Shamaya from Otep. I'm more into male voices though.
Now check the double pedal on Stampin Ground for those who don't know, it's sick shit

Chris Barnes has the sickest voice
The amount of weed he had to have smoked to get that raspy tone...
