Drunken stories are some of the most interesting experiences I've been a part of and read. It's the pub. I made a thread about what is the longest anyone has been on a substance. A pot smoker said 15 years, more power to you. Free will, but I find drunken stories to be more entertaining.
Time and place for everything depending on the experience you want or expect.

I accidently drank a bottle of whiskey. I only drank ~1/4 of a 750mL bottle and I woke up in the morning with 90% of the bottle gone.. no memory. I clearly put that bottle down and went to bed, thinking to sleep. Nobody else couldve gotten to it. Soooo pissed. This was on Tuesday night. and I still feel off. Must've thrown up 20 times the day after.. So I abstained completely after this incident for almost 3 days.. no sleep at all. So ive been taking very small amounts just to be able to fall asleep. I dont know if its from the alcohol or not, I did just stop smoking weed which always throws me off sleep-wise for a few days.. I dunno

I only seem to puke sometimes when I drink the 101 wild turkey or tanguray gin (I don't know how to spell it) so I usually go to lower proof.
It's normal to not be able to sleep after drininking especially hard liquor over a period of time which is why I got the generic form of ambien. It makes such a difference to have a good sleep after drinking for a long period of time and the only way I've been able to do this is with meds.
Just my experience.

Wild Turkey is a solid drink. I actually like Crow Royal to.
I got a lot drunker than I expected last night. I think I thought a tube of toothpaste was astronaut food.
Really though, I had 12 Kokanee, and I was pretty drunk.

I got tired of the drinker haters posting on it. I posted another thread about what is the longest you have been on a substance including alcohol. 14 years of smoking pot everyday which may have been an exaggeration from the man but reading so many posts I don't see why so many people on the shroomery need to mock the drinkers. It seems to be a divide to many people that drinkers are automatically assholes and it pissed me off so I deleted it and reworded it with just one mocker so far.
There, to me is a wonderful state of being of intoxication, and personally I usually mix it with other things, but I got fed up with the haters. Take experiences how far as you can within certain bounds as long as it's in the live and let live area IMO.

I agree, the stigma against heavy drinking is kind of overboard. You don't have to be an asshole or a human wreckage to enjoy being intoxicated on a regular basis. Sometimes it's actually a good thing. I know that when I go on short-term vacation, and I have no responsibilities to concern myself with, I operate from the baseline of a buzz.
Especially with the self-righteous stoners I smoke weed every day, don't get me wrong, but this idea a lot of the heavier stoners have that what they're doing is harmless while drinkers are pathetic addicts is just wrong. I'm sure heavy weed addiction is better for you physically and neurologically, but I think it's actually worse for you psychologically. Shit makes you so fucking lazy and boring when you go overboard with it. Booze doesn't make you lazy or boring, it just makes you crazy and incoherent.

I have nothing against stoners at all. I love free will. I just got this overwhelming hate by some posters about alcohol which I didn't wan't to read anymore.
Point is I want this to be a thread for when I get drunk, and others are drunk to share their experiences and/or thoughts. But please add something instead of "drinking binges are cool" shit.

Oh same here. Again, I AM a stoner basically, and I live with a heavier stoner, I'm just saying that stoners should not point their fingers at people who favor alcohol, because their poison of choice has its own disadvantages.
Anyway, I'm not drunk or planning to get drunk today, so I think I will now graciously bow out of the thread.

Don't get me wrong, I like to learn, just for others to try to keep a positive vibe drunk or not. It's not a either/or thing.

I smoke herb more than I drink, but I do like to drink equally.
I'll drink about 3 times a week, and it's usually 3-4 from after supper until I go to bed while I'm going around the house making music, or out on the back deck or whatever. Just enough for a buzz, and then I'll smoke some herb with it. I think I've become accustomed to just having a few beer every second or third day. I really like the taste, and I always buy different drinks each time. I'll find the section with the single serve imports and buy a few cans of just random beers, ale's, or whatever.

Dude the same exact same thing happened to me, the exact same amount. Sans the puking part. I downed my sixth shot and the second I outed my cig and laid down I blanked out. I woke up in the AM and saw the empty bottle, started wondering what the fuck I did I went to the bathroom and saw a fire extinguisher on the counter I literally facepalmed when I laid eyes on it. I packed a bowl and made my way out the door and to the stairwell to blaze. when I opened the stairwell door the entire staircase all five flights of it and the fixtures, everything, was covered in a thick layer of fire extinguisher dust Luckily I didnt do anything to stupid while I was blacked out. At least that time.

She's lost control again, never seen a lead singer dance with his psychical blocks but Ian Curtis was a fucking great talent. 23 is such a waste to die. A fucking hanging on a staircase fence if I have it right.
Why does 27 seem to be the magical number for most?

This thread makes me feel like I don't have a problem with alcohol.
I buy my liquor by the handle (1750 mL). If I accidentally drank 90% of the bottle, I think I'd be on my way to the morgue. That's some scary shit for real though...

I think you have some issues to resolve within yourself, or try a therapist and the wonderful pharms they will give you. Don't feel like somehting is wrong with you unless it's fucking up your life. Even then I don't recommened the system.

My alcohol consumption is well under control. I am really only after the feeling I get after 1 or 2 drinks. Slight buzz, euphoria, perhaps a bit of megalomania.
I guess that makes me only a moderate though...
