shotgun FC or just verm??? 1st time
    #14562262 - 06/04/11 10:15 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

This is my first time, cakes are almost done turning all white. Once they are should I use a tub with perlite or do a tub with verm on the bottom? Which would be easier for me? I work 7-8 hrs a day and would not be home all the time. Also, what is the point of the dunk and roll?? Is it necessary or better to do this??? Im def a noob, I just don't want to mess this up and do it the best way possible. These forums have really helped. Thankyou everyone!!!

Perlite bin, holes. Look up one of the teks on the forum using the search. type in SG FC or Shotgun fruiting chamber DIY or some shit.

Dunk and roll= replenishing lost moisture during colonizing. Rolling give the cake a nice layer to absorb more moisture giving it a micro climate of sorts.

Cubensis need a very high RH (relative humidity)to fruit properly.

The dunk is to fully hydrate your cake for the first flush.
