Black and white thinking would be to say some things are crazy and some things are sane.
Saying that everything/nothing is crazy is actually more like "full color" thinking, recognizing that sane and insane are a spectrum of graduations whose delineations are arbitrary.

that's pretty impressive to take "everything or nothing" as "a spectrum of graduations"

well, is it not sort of like saying "either everything is a color or nothing is"?
Although then you have the problem of the so called "shades" black, white and grey or whatever.
So are you saying you side with the shades? What makes a man turn neutral?

Not sure I'm following. What I see is nature at work. Society is a product of being a social creature that finds survival and psychological benefits from the social structures it creates. One can view social animals in nature and watch what they do to their kind when they aren't clicking with the society but rarely do we view ourselves with this same lens.

I was insane, but I was never able to understand what that really meant. I mean I can think I am talking to my computer and be "crazy" but if someone drops a bomb on a school following orders they are "sane" ?
But When I thought I could control traffic with my hands, that was crazy. SO I am crazy, but not anymore? If you are insane once, are you forever insane, or does insanity come and go? And if insanity comes and goes, does that not make it part of the normal human range of experience and thus not insane at all?
And if you had a culture where insane behavior was desired, it would not be considered insane and even the sane would emulate it.

23 is close to 16?
The law in my state doesn't say so.

insanity is like velveeta mac n cheese to regular, i think an organized way of life is insane, does that make me sane in my unorganized life?
