Lending someone a pressure cooker

Hi, I'm wondering if I could legally be involved with this.... a friend asked me to use a pressure cooker that I found at my house to do the PF tek. I brought it over and saw him do part of the process (mixing the brown rice and what not) I showed him how to release the steam after it was done but didn't see any other steps than that. I don't use drugs or alcohol so I don't possess anything illegal. Just wondering if something were to happen to friend and he was like "well so and so told me about this and gave me the pressure cooker" if I could get in trouble?
Thanks

Doubtful. Anyway never release the pressure after cooking. Bad idea.

Why would you release the steam after it's done rather than letting it cool overnight?

Since you knew what it was for, you are guilty of "conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance."
Hopefully you won't get caught. Its a serious crime.

I don't think the PF tek is illegal, I never saw them use the syringe so I technically don't know what they were doing.

pf cakes can be used to grow oysters and other edible mushrooms, so the fact you seen them making cakes is not a crime, unless they can prove you knew they intended to grow psilocybes

Note that the proof required is that they convince 12 people you were in on it. It's super-unlikely, but not impossible.

Lawyers can't do much for conspiracy charges because the standard of evidence is low.

Barely.
All you need to do to be convicted is....anything....
If you tell your friend that you want to make LSD from fosters beer and he buys the beer...You are both guilty of conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, same penalty as operating a real lsd lab.

...Can you cite any cases this extreme? I've heard rumors, (who hasn't), but very few actual cases even being brought into state or federal courts on such nonsense, only local cases quickly dropped by funding a proficient lawyers' vacation.

I agree 100% with allen. if you let your friend use Your PC, knowing he was going to cultivate illegal mushrooms (even only watching him prep PF jars) all your friend has to say "yea, he lent me his PC". then the prosecutor, or cop would go, "did he help you or knew what you were using it for?" he would say "uhhh, yea kinda" and in the words of Mr. james duane "wam, bam, now you have a murder charge"
