Drying the finished caps

So I was considering using a desiccator to dry my homies but I'm not very educated on this part of the process. I am ready to buy either a food dehydrator or a desiccator so any veteran words would be appreciated.

I use nesco snackmaster and in 24 hours they are ready for storage. I'm sure there are cheaper prices for a used one.

Dehydrators work better/easier than desiccators in my experience. No chemicals that need to be recharged or replaced, and a lot less mess.
Dehydrators are basically a fan with a heating element. Cheap, easy, and will work for years. They also work faster than desiccants.
Dehumidifiers work great too, but are too expensive unless you need them for something else.

Air dry them in front of a fan for a few days and then put them in a desiccant chamber. I use this method and the desiccant lasts a for a long time. The trick is to air dry them before you put them in the chamber.

Growing mushrooms is fun. I don't think it's a pain in the ass at all.
