Ancient Aliens has a lot of speculated bullshit. It's not very good but some parts do make me think early humans had access to some pretty advanced technology like those ruins in that one place, I forget what it's called.

As good as it gets? I think not.
In ocean water theres a tiny amount of substance you can take out, without harming the water or the ocean if you if it right. This substance, if heated enough, will give much more energy than you have put in. You can get the energy equivalent of ten or twenty barrels of oil out of every bucket of ocean water, again, without harming the water OR causing extreme pollution.
We are nowhere near maximum potential yet.

Physics.
Fusion of Deuterium to be exact.
Less than half a pound of the stuff is equivalent in power output to a thousand tons of oil. Thats an oil supertanker that slips right in your pocket.

Let's harness the power of the sun and get it over with, infinite energy, or at least until in burns out in a few billion years. Also, if we were to spent all the resources we are using for war on fighting poverty and curing world hunger, it could be eradicated. Shit, I'm pretty sure even the so called terrorists would be on board with that idea if it means a better world for them. We would have to get rid of all the Americanization bullshit too though.

I think so; we are with too many.
We can only come up with a few ideas (ie. democracy) but that only satisfies 51 percent over the other 49.
I think we should get eradicated and start over

Solar panel field in the Sahara as big as Austria = power for the whole world. Combine those two things, and we'd be getting closer to our evolutionary peak, I reckon.

Why confuse people, you're talking about hydrogen, deuterium being a hydrogen isotope with 1 neutron with an atomic mass of 2.

Two things:
1..please state the amounts of raw materials needed to make those panels
2..how to get the energy across the globe? Liquid nitrogen cooled superconductive powerlines?

Since the beginning of christ, or whatever you do or do not believe, I think it has been going in a wave cycle, we have high points ( Like the discovery of electricity and all that stuff) Then we have are low points ( aka Obama and 9/11 thats the lowest in humanity you can get) Right now , we are on an up hill building our selfs up again)

Given the fact that people in the first world use up on average 30x more resources and produse much more waste than people in developing nations, its pretty clear where to start.
The billion or so people in Africa use up 1/10 of the resources the USA uses.

I think we need to systematically eradicate advocates of abstinence-only sex education. That will solve the problem.
