I just had an idea, since all plant cells are totipotent stem cells, is there some way to hypothetically, genetically alter a cannabis plant cell so that it is somehow producing the chemicals required to differentiate into a flower cell potentially on a petri dish and then just grow lots of these cells?

If so that would be cool, Im baked and I was thinking of if it would be hard to synthesize THC hypothetically lol, and then I remember reading pure THC isn't nice, so I wondered how to grow strictly flowers in a lab setting  :bonghit:

discuss?

I thought about something similar... But instead of growing flowers in a lab setting I was thinking something along the lines of combining a cannabis plant with a tomato or strawberry plant (or any other ordinary plant for that matter). By combine I mean somehow combining the cells of an ordinary plant with cannabis so that the ordinary plant could produce the resin containing all the active alkaloids required to give us the same natural, safe high as cannabis. Sounds crazy but there has to be a way!
