So what has already taken a piece of you or harmed you? I've been bit by a dog, mosquitos, and the least regular was a jellyfish on my neck. Never experienced the common bee, wasp or even spider fish which we have a lot here. What has already bitten you??

Girls, cats, dogs, spiders, snakes, a turtle, different bugs, gerbil, hamster, parrot, little brother, a skate(like a ray) and a fish... I must be tasty. Worst bite was deer tick (2 times). Those little fuckers carry Lyme disease . . .

Cats Chow Chow, named Bubbles, not very friendly, just got a tip of a finger. Yellow Lab, as a stupid child I stuck my face in his, lesson learned. yellowjacket mosquitos Rat or Hamster I forget, some fucking rodent in a cage. Random spiders of the night. ticks bald-faced hornet (WHY!!!! Angry fuckers that strike out of no where and leave the most painful insect bite I have yet to feel) deer fly (mean mother fuckers that like to stalk you and bite, painful) Ants, probably some common red ant.
Can't think of anything else.

asside from the usual assortment of insects including a black widow, I've had numerous snake bites including a rattle snake, I was lucky because it was a juvenile and didnt get me with the venom, a warning bite more or less.
I've also been bitten by all kinds of farm animals, pigs and horses hurt the most, young pigs have teeth like razors, I've been bitten numerous times by cats a few dogs, a ferret my ex wife insisted on having even though she was informed that it was a biter. seems my hands end up in all the wrong places

I am not looking forward to this as I will soon have two horses on my property. As nice as they are, they always like to try and get that bite in when feeling frisky.
My wife has had some gnarly horse bites in the past.

usually they give some warning first, many are accidental like when you're feeding them from your hand, some are because the horse is irritable or something, best thing to do is work with them frequently, the horse I have right now is the best horse ever, gentle as can be, my daughter breaks every rule when it comes to horses and this one doesnt even flinch, any time the kids are around the horse plants her feet and doesnt budge.
the kids have been swimming in her watering trough, she plays by sticking her nose under and splashing water on them...

Yeah, one of our horses is a Spanish Mustang and the other is an ex-racehorse,giant quarter horse. The mustang has been a lot better since in the last 2 years we really made an effort to make it daily to where he is boarded and work with him daily. There was about two years of very little work. The Quarter Horse is, well goofy, very well mannered but i just have to watch the mouth. I don't think it will ever be a full on bite but even their "pinches" can be painful... or so I have heard.
I have to get new pics of our quarter horse, he is almost back up to full weight and starting to pack on the muscle. He is right around 17.2 hands.

remarking, I think you're ahead of us in terms of poisonous species. what symptoms did you get from these bites??

that pinch is really just the horse feeling you, quarter horses are easy to train but like with any horse they can be a bit high strung, racehorses even more so
