Smells like swiss cheese?

I spawned some BRF cakes to some moose poo, but I used lysol to clean the

trash bag that I was using as a barrier between the spawn and the 5 gal

bucket I am using. I opened the bag after 24hrs and it smelt like lysol.

So I switched the bags, well now its starting to smell like swiss cheese

and the myc is growing in really thick, and only in clumps. I don't

notice any discoloration or anything, just the smell. I decided to move

it out side into and outdoor patch. Anyone have any idea what the smell

was?

I assumed you pasteurized the poo? haha sometimes you gotta double check :bigjoint:

Yeah, that smell normally is a bacterial contamination.

Could have been tones of different factors as to what could have caused that.

Beef up your sterility from now on

Yeah, I pasteurized at 160 for 1 hour. Last time, I went up to 170 and I had no problems, maybe my meat therm is off..
