2C-E is friggin' great. Strong visuals and strong head trip IME. The head trip is not so much "absent" as it is unobtrusive - you can operate through it if you wish, but if you have the comfort level necessary then you can really sink into it and do some deep-water diving. Kinda like LSD that way, and one of the reasons why I love it.

You're bound to have a good time. Happy trails. :awecid:

How is social interaction? This trip'll be mostly solo but in a few minutes I may be going to meet up with this dude I ran into that was on the same bus as me who just moved into the neighborhood, gonna smoke a few blunts and chill back, he was curious as to what instrument I play since he saw me fingertapping to Deathspell Omega on the bus (T+1hour), the conversation ended up mentioning psychedelics and he gave that hearty ol' laugh and smile of someone who is very much familiar with that headspace.

Afterwards I'll just head off into a forest park and enjoy the peak in nature.

Thanks dudes!

Yeah if something random appears (like WHITE POWER GARGLED MILK FOR INSTANCE :laugh:izope) it'll give me a very WTF moment where I start analyzing things to a great degree (which is what I'm loving so far, 2C-E seems to have plenty of potential as an introspective tool so far)

Also Prisoner#1 admitting that he is indeed an Ocelot Overlord slowly turning the wheels ov doom and utter enslavement as we speak is also ... I'm not so sure. That still hasn't sunk in yet.

I TRUSTED YOU PRIS :bubbles: WE ALL DID :foreveralone:

can I be an ocelot overlord too? :datass:

Seconded. I really want to know what agonists and antagonists are in regards to receptors and what being a function of 5-HT2A even means

I'm not sure if you're asking a literal question.  Agonists turn on the receptor, and antagonists bind to the receptor and prevent it from being turned on.  And inverse agonists bind to a receptor as an agonist, but cause an opposite effect.

Being a function of 5-HT2A agonism means that it is caused by turning on the receptor.

Now if you weren't asking a literal question, you're probably not going to get an answer from a sober person.

Social interaction is hilarious. It's just like acid (again) where you have that feeling of being displaced from and ultimately above the normal routines of social interaction. You analyze everything people say very deeply, pick apart its various possible meanings, apply them to yourself, then respond thoughtfully...

I fucking love it  If you're with chill people it's great.

People who say the 2C-X's are basically an amphetamine-type "high" have obviously not had much experience with 2C-E, that's all I'll say.

Somebody around here the other day was actually saying that.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14490566#14490566

Beyond that (obviously) ignorant-ass newsmedia are quick to compare any new drug fad to crystal meth and cocaine, however irrelevant the comparison may be, and 2C-E is the latest victim.

2c-e is awesome. I've found that it has a "magic" dose, similar to MDMA. If you find this you're in for a pretty awesome time.

I figured that's what it meant just by knowing what antagonist and agonist, thanks for clearing that up!

Hmm... if you were a molecule...

Mescaline derivative? :awesome:

I decided on not going as I didn't want to have to deal with interacting with someone completely new on a new psyche and while I seem to be handling myself fine now I'm sure things will soon change if I start hitting a blunt and quite frankly I don't want to subject the poor dude to any :lolwut: antics that may arise today.

Substances behave strangely like that, I always find it difficult, even on something like MDMA, to interact with someone who does not share the experience with me. It feels like I am operating on a completely different set of brain waves, and talking to sober people is just clunky and awkward to me.

Yeeeep. Especially considering I JUST MET HIM and while I am normally very chill and laidback and get along fine with anybody I'd prefer to get to know people when I'm not busy psychoanalyzing them, their mannerisms, doing pretty much what tchan said but with the added feature of SHIMMERING GLITTERY FRACTAL PATTERNS ON HIS FACE WHILE HE'S TALKING TO ME

Tripping hard around sober people, even if they are experienced with tripping, still feels weird. I don't dig social interaction on psyches much though social interactions when they do occur do give me some insight into what kind of a person I am as I begin analyzing myself based on how I responded, what were my intentions for this response, etc. all that Freudian jazz.

Anyways I'm going to go trip away from here now and spare the Shroomery any such :kingtard:isms that may have arisen.

It's okay stuff. Very colorful, interesting sometimes awful body load. Lots of body temp fluctuation, at least for me. My fav part about 2c-e is definitely it's take on colors. It makes them very different in vibe than you're accustomed to, kinda pastel almost but that doesn't do it justice, hard to explain but very cool.

Pastel's a good way to put it. I always feel like I'm in an oil painting.

As for social interaction, I've always found it very easy to talk to people on 2c-e, although I think staying in on ~40mg was probably a good idea.
