Yah no problem brother, shoot me one whenever.
Going for those squats today or what? I'll post my time when I finish!

I'm really sorry to hear that brother, keep your head up; if you need I know we are just on the Internet but I as I'm sure everyone else here is always here to support you, if you need to talk don't be afraid to shoot me a PM for anything.
I'll check your shoulder pain thread now, don't push it with the squats let that shoulder rest!

hey let me know what your time was. I will get my time to you asap. I am planning on taking 3 weeks off for my shoulder. I think if I eat right and rest enough I should be able to heal up in that amount of time.

Honestly I felt a little pathetic, haven't used a bar or been in the actually gym in a while but I told you I would do it and I am a man of my word. I ended up getting 100 in just about 10 minutes, which was about a set of 10 every minute.
The last 3 or 4 sets literally kicked the shit out of me. But hell I feel accomplished for getting it done. May have to get in there and try and improve on that time. Definitely a full body exercise, will be feeling it tomorrow for sure.

Impressed? I guess so, felt like I should have been able todo sets of 20 and cut that time in half; either way it was definitely a killer session. Today I am definitely feeling it a lot it my lower body, but also in my shoulders; mainly my stabilizer muscles. I didn't get as sore as I expected but I did make sure to get proper pwo nutrition and I have been consistently using my KB and doing yoga so I figure I am just used to the abuse.
Definitely rest up brother, no rush!

I thought I'd post this here... It's kind of relevant. The whole muscle up thing. I just wonder how much time in the joint this guy did

Damn that guy is truly amazing, that kind of stuff takes true mastery of the body and not just strength. Thanks for posting WorldWide, much appreciated brother!

Yeah, he goes by Hannibal - look up "hannibal for king" in youtube and you will get a bunch of clips. The video posted is a cult hit amongst the strength communities online it seems.
I just found an interview with him on youtube actually, about to check it out.
I too was wondering about his lower body fitness - but with the baggy clothes he wears it's hard to tell the true development of his lower body. Who knows. I wonder if he trains exclusively body weight?
If anyone wants to check out some more amazing bodyweight stuff search "hand balancing" and then look for the twin circus performers - they are AMAZING.

Today I could only run about 3 miles before I had to stop . I think the 2 week break I took from working out plus my recent detox from opiates are to blame.
Gonna keep at it though. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be back to where I was.

What were you running before? Still, 3 miles is pretty good. What do you think you could run a mile in for time?

About a month ago I was running 1 mile in under 6 minutes. I would feel like I was about to die afterwards, but I could do it pretty consistently.
At a slower pace I could run 10+ miles no problem.
My ultimate goal is to be able to finish a marathon, and be able to run a sub 5 minute mile.
I love running

I hear ya on that. When I used to do five miles I would get so damn high. A beautifull natural high! Even recently before I got hurt I was doing 2 miles and I was feeling high as hell. I really love that runner high feeling.
I cant imagine running 10 miles!

If I am timing myself I can always feel it start to kick in around the 10-15 minute mark. After that it is usually just smooth sailing and I feel like I can go forever.
There is just something so primal about running.
When I get a good runner's high going I can forget about everything else in the world except the here and now.
