Yea I get like that when I smoke. Needless to say when I get really high I don't do as well in fast paced social situations opposed to when sober/drunk. Different ends of the spectrum I guess.

I believe that disembodied entities run free in the collective consciousness (also known as "angels," "demons," and "ghosts"), that we are capable of receiving images and memories from the collective consciousness, I believe the existence of a creator God is more likely than its nonexistence, I believe in subjective immortality, I believe in absolute unity... I have my doubts about souls...
I could go on.

I'm sympathetic to Rupert Sheldrake's theory of morphic resonance.
I also find Dean Radin's meta-analyses of psi research quite compelling.
I'm a theist, but not a very conventional one.
I also have an interest in astrology, though I'm not committed to it enough to defend it.

I agree there is probably something "to" psionics that mainstream science hasn't latched onto yet. The idea that electronic activity in the brain influences and is influenced by the environment outside the skull seems almost obvious to me, though it's a field of inquiry that is often derailed from both sides by ego politics and overreaching skepticism.

My most out there belief...well I believe in aliens and ufos, that something cool may happen in 2012, as well as conspiracies and the like. However my most out there belief is really more of a hope than anything else: Jerry Garcia is alive and faked his death so that he could stage the coolest reunion tour ever with the grateful dead to coincide with the events of 2012. He realized that his continued touring and lifestyle would kill him, and he realized that the vibe with his bandmates wasn't what it used to be. Plus he was playing kind of poorly in the 90s and realized he needed extreme practice and seclusion. Thus he faked his death to give everyone in the band an extended hiatus and time to do their own thing with regards to music. The return would come at the exact moment in a furthur show when everybody was peaking.
Yeah I know, pretty crazy. I was just thinking about this at work and how incredibly awesome it would be. I guess in terms of real beliefs that I actually do hold, I think the grateful dead are pure magic in every sense of the word.
