Which guy wanted to legalize heroin and everything else, Ron Paul or Rand Paul? I'd vote for him next if I was you guys. LEGALIZE THE H, chase that dragon!

Off topic but I know a lot of you are voting Paul. What reasons are you voting for him? I haven't really done my research and made my party choice yet, but I want to vote this next election.
Dude you need to look into him. And dont listen to the tards around here who say hes a lunatic and this and that. From the way I see it he could be this country's last hope.

It's about time they start thinking rationally. Making drugs illegal only creates crime where there is no crime. If you want to go do drugs you should be able to without the government coming in and making laws that hurt other people. The former marine that was murdered by the police a few weeks ago would still be alive if drugs were legal. Drug laws corrupt the system and cause more pain and suffering that drugs do. The police will have to actually go do police work now and catch REAL criminals.

The US and Mexico are united in the fight against the drug cartels. No time to legalize drugs.

the war on drugs has failed, hence its time to bring out bigger guns and harsher penaltys. We must win this war my fellow americans, we can not fail.

This is really good news, really good news. Too bad the drug czar said that the report was "misguided", what did he mean by that?

Makes me wonder... How many dicks did the frogs have to suck to weasle their way in there? They haven't been a significant military or cultural power since WWI at latest.

And an update on what the white house has to say...
Quote:
Update at 11:15 a.m. ET: In response to the report, the White House Drug Policy says the adminstration efforts to reduce drug use "are not born out out of a culture war or drug war mentality, but out of the recognition that drug use strains our economy, health, and public safety."
The White House also says:
Overall drug use in the United States has dropped substantially over the past thirty years. The number of Americans using illicit drugs today is roughly half what it was in the late 70's. There has been a 46% drop in current cocaine use among young adults over the past five years, and a 68% drop in the rate of people testing positive for cocaine in the workplace since 2006. The potential production capacity for pure cocaine in Colombia has declined from an estimated 700 metric tons of potential cocaine production in 2001 to only 280 metric tons in 2009 —a 60% drop. Legalization remains a non-starter "because research shows that illegal drug use is associated with voluntary treatment admissions, fatal drugged driving accidents, mental illness, and emergency room admissions." http://content.usatoday.com/communities/ondeadline/post/2011/06/un-commission-the-global-war-on-drugs-has-failed/1
