Sunburned, Scabby San Pedro Chunks.

I have quite a few ugly pieces I ended up freeing from my mother plant. I was going to plant them, as the new growth looks as good as it grows, but then again they would look terrible in my garden all sunburned and scabbed up. They are literally about half brown.. not all bright green anymore. I was wondering if they'd be good for making tea or cactus resin with. It'd be beyond impossible to remove the cactus skin, pretty much all I can do is De-spine it, cut off all of the chunks from the core, and then toss that into a regular boil. I have made tea without removing the skin, and it had a very bad texture that was more than slimy but almost waxy. I haven't made tea though with cactus having so much bad looking skin on it. Under the skin is the typical bright green flesh so I assume it is still decently potent, but won't the brown, crusty skin make the brew a little off , even more so than the typical skin effects it?

Anyways, I need some input. Just chop it all up leaving out the core and thorns, then use it like anything else and make tea? Will these overly stressed out cacti pieces perform well? I was planning on making the typical tea, then letting it sit on low heat with a fan overnight or until it's solid enough to capsulize. My friend and I will each be using roughly 5 feet of Pedro concentrated into capsules over the course of 4 hours to have quite an interesting day. Don't worry, we've done it before and the only negative effects lasted until we we're done puking.

The brown, beat up, woody parts are less potent.    Every other question in your post is technically dosage/preparation advice, and would be more appropriate for The Psychedelic Experience forums...  In the ethnogarden talk of chopping up plants gets you called a murderer
